As a person who likes to take in the view of things, I’d love if the camera zoom would angle in a more horizontal way when zooming in. That would increase the experience in areas that have good music like Jirandai. I know this may not be a priority issue, but it would be awesome if this was implemented
You’re likely to get a “If World of Warcraft rendered all in one go” situation if they did that.
At least for most PC owners that is.
What do you mean? D3 has angled zoom-in. Several other arpg I can think of has this. Why would this be a problem and not solely an improvement?
Video games are a illusion, D4 is designed to be seen from a certain angle, changing the view angle would most likely cause you to see things you werent ment to see, such as missing textures, clipping and incomplete objects, like a house missing one of its sides, a tree clipping into the ground or a rock being flat as a board instead of a full 3d model.
With a somewhat more horizontally angled zoom-in, I could live with minor detail misses, clipping and some missing texture here and there… It’s not like my mind would collapse into existential crisis. But since the seeming lack of interest to my issue and that everyone seems content with the current zoom-in I take it that this issue does not have enough attention to bother the devs to improve this matter. Anyway, there are more pressing matters they should look into when it comes to make D4 a better game.
