for awhile now i have had an occasion issue with some horses looking better without saddles, but on the release of VoH pretty much ALL of the feline mounts look better without the saddle/armour. but take the saddle off and what do we see?
Dirty grey blanket that covers 80% of there back and sides. it complete ruins the look of the mount.
I bought a cosmetic. Duskwalker AKA Ethereal Lion as the image of him without the mount in the store looked great. in game though… same dirty blanket covering most of him.
I dont even want the mount anymore because it looks so different to what i paid for!
please blizzard remove this blanket it cannot be seen under the saddles and if you think it can and looks better add it to the saddles. the cats look vastly better without.

Think about that poor animal! Having you in your sharp heavy armour sitting on top and no protection for its delicate furry soft back.

Actually seconding this. Especially with the purchasable mounts.
One other option would be to create a super minimalistic saddle for both mount types now, that doesn’t cover the back of the animals

I think that is the point.
Some skins are deliberately bad to sell or motivate for the better ones.
Even the fancy 2800 plat mounts have the dirty underblanket when they’re sold in the shop with a blanketless bullshot.
Cats just need a clean minimalistic saddle available, like the stable vendor barding for horses. All of the existing cat armor is full heavy barding which look great for sure, but personally I like just seeing my cat.

Same here.
I dont want my horse or cat to look like a tank. I want to see the animal.
Same goes for mount trophies. I hardly ever see someone use them. They just break the natural form of the mount. Instead of trophies, different trail effect would sell better.
I hate the cloth blanket on the blue horsey you get from 90 tier in this season. I want to see the blue shimmer lines and pretty design.
I was about to start a topic with this, but glad to see I’m not the only one… 
The previews show the mounts with no blanket/saddle, and yet, when you get them and use them - they are covered?! This is especially horrible with special FX mounts. Plus, isn’t that false advertising? They sell you a full spectral tiger and you get a covered one?
