Possibility to turn off transmogs!

I wish there was an option to turn off other players’ transmogs in the game options. I would like to be able to see what eq he really has after meeting another player, so that it defines his appearance and progress in the game, not an artificial transmoog.

wouldn’t the player level perform something similar in game?

Also cannot say I did it myself, but I did hear about people being able to inspect other players to see their equipment, which would probably tell you more than the outward appearance anyway, since legendary affixes can be swapped to other items.

hmm, cannot say I see the point, but more options, and its possibly something for the PVP aspect, should always be welcomed.

Just don’t do this in real life… some people need to be wearing makeup. Makes them abit more approachable. And inspectable… mm…yep.

Your suggestion partially defeats the purpose of the transmog. Don’t think it’ll ever be a thing.

The transmogs aren’t artificial. They had those items and used resources to change them to their build.

You can inspect them using the action wheel to see the gears “stats”.

Mind your own business.

Doesn’t making your player profile private prohibit inspections?
Or does it still let you inspect what gear the other player is wearing?

You can make your profile private? I’m pretty sure you can inspect whomever you want.

Correct me if i’m wrong, but does it really matter if you see their gear or not?

Appareance of a item, doesn’t necessarily mean that you can see how strong or weak their item is. You can find a variety of different items with different stats and levels, while it looks exactly the same.

Except legendary’s have unique appareance. So, you always need to check their stats, regardless transmog or not.

Yes. You could make your profile private. I’m 100% sure as I did it during beta.
But I don’t know if it just prohibit others from checking your ID and other “user” information or does it block all character stats as well.

Oh okay… I wouldn’t expect a game like Diablo to have that feature, unless it shows Bnet id it probably won’t impact in-game inspecting and if it did that’d honestly be the strangest thing in D4.
