Blizzard, we need to talk. Damage reduction doesn’t work well.
In games, to tank damage you raise defenses, life, reduce damage, block damage, etc… This does not work here, in D4.
I play with Necromancer with 30k health. My reduction damage is:
Basic skill, Reap : +15%
Curse skill, Decrepify: +23,8%
Pasive skill, Death’s embrace: +12%
Aspect: when use basic skill, +20% reduction for 7 seconds: +20%
Aspect in amulet, ur minions and u have +38% reduction damage: +38%
Legendary node: +15% reduction with 2 corpse close: +15%
Fortify: +10%
Armour: complet +85%
Totally: +208,8% damage reduction with 30K life. I think is very good defensive player. Very, very, very good.
So, why do they kill me in one hit at level 60 pit?
Resume: only lvl 60 pit, a middle lvl. Very high life, 30k. Very, very, very, very, very BIG damage reduction. Why insta kill?
It’s not a question, it’s rhetoric, it’s maieutics. Clearly, damage reduction and one-hit death are things that Blizzard needs to fix.
If you want to make a character that in a simple level 60 of the pit does not die from a blow, you should be able to do so. Even at pit level 120.
