After the update my game always crashes on the loading screen, and now my gpu has stopped working, I can’t turn on the computer, there’s no video at all (cpu does not have integrated video)
I can’t buy another one , just thanks for this update

after the last update of the new season you can no longer enter, the game remains frozen on the Blizzard screen or the next one. I also tried reinstalling and restarting the PC. I only managed to log in once, then I teleported to the city and the game crashed again.
The PC crashed. I will stop playing Diablo until you fix it with a new update and I will not recommend it to any of my friends.

Same. This is getting frustrating…every patch has made the game less and less stable. The first season was fine, but then the first major patch made my game stutter, the end of last season made the game a slideshow and unplayable, and now this patch has made it so even logging in now is a slot machine of will it or won’t it. Please prioritize these stability issues. I don’t think I’ve played a recent Blizzard game with this shoddy of stability issues.

Same problem with crashes after latest patch. Sometimes it crashes before character screen, when i try to start D4 up after crash
Same here. Uninstalled D4 and Battle.net, updated all my drivers, nothing works. I freeze at the Blizzard screen, could play twice today, one time my screen just froze and stopped responding, second time it crashed when I wanted to teleport.
This worked!
Go to your Diablo 4 folder and rename dstorage.dll to dstorage.dllbak. Some people have just removed the file altogether and it still works. But rename it first, and see how it goes. You are welcome, it was not me. Found it from someone who found it from someone who found it from… you get it. Thanks Blizzard for not offerring a solution to this massive problem.

after update cant play party always shows other player in party or not worldtier and random disconnection may occur .
My video card just die after this crashes. Sad.
Just wait fix this patch guys, I don’t want it to happen the same to anyone.

Same here, game cannot even load into the character screen anymore even removed the high definition package, reinstalled the game, could be a glitch, but nothing, just does not work… guys, please read this!
This worked for me too. After playing season 2, I couldn’t launch season 3 until I renamed dstorage.dll. Thanks for the tip!
Blizzard, seriously, pin this for people.
Before for D4, my CPU spiked only during the Lilith art intro page before login. Now I’m not even in game, just downloading the update on Battlenet and it causes my CPU usage to skyrocket and run temps at 80-90 degrees on a 7950X3D with AIO.
I’ve had my system for months, played different AAA games and this happens only with Diablo 4. I pause the download and the temps immediately go back to normal.
A quick search online shows this problem occurred up to and over 8 months ago.
Just what is Blizzard trying to do?
