I have both the normal client and the PTR downloaded on the same hard drive & both of them run at lowest settings possible. The normal client gives me 60 fps whilst the PTR only gives out 30 fps.
I’ve downloaded the PTR client again and I used the “Scan & Repair” tool, which both took several hours, but the issue was not solved.
Am I the only one experiencing this? Why? Is there a solve?
same issue, ptr is almost unplayable for me, really laggy and stuttery, normal client is fine.
EU does not even have PTR forum section. Our opinions are void.

What I see different between the two is that I get stuck in the “Login” page on the PTR client for a few seconds up to a few minutes, and the screen freezes.
When I get into the game, the first few seconds, my frames are what I also what I get on the Live server, but after that, they halve. I seem to notice that if I switch tabs and I let PTR client run in the background, my frames go back to what I normally get (because the game tells me when I press Ctrl + R).
It seems to be an issue with the “Max Foreground FPS” and “Max Background FPS”, even though I have them set beyond what I can get on PTR, they still affect my client FPS, even though they should not be a restriction.
I have the game on Xbox battlepass, I could get it on Steam but I don’t think that should be a factor.
