everytime i want to log into PTR it comes up with the WARNING!
Game servers are not available CODE 34202 i have to uninstall and reinstall to play the PTR normal game works fine everytime though
Same here. Game crashed and I was unable to get back in PTR while ‘normal’ game works just fine on PC or on both of my consoles PS and Xbox.
I’ve googled, tried finding solution on different forums on reddit and here and even contacted technical support with no luck so far. If you search online you’ll discover that the problem is quite common and has been such for years and best advice you’ll get is ‘restart PC, restart router, flush DNS cache and reset network configuration…’ etc. None of this usually works.
If you look into debug file you’ll find that game crashes somewhere here ‘ERROR_GAME_UTILITY_SERVER_VERSION_MISMATCH (34202)’ so my best guess would be something to do with devs patching game on their side which ‘Check for updates’ or ‘Scan and Repair’ tool should be able to fix. It doesn’t.
I have tried uninstalling and installing as well before but haven’t succeeded.
