Quick question about season characters

If I keep playing my original character, HC or otherwise, I don’t get the season content.

But If I start again (new character), I get the new content, good or bad or whatever… My question is, when season 2 comes, am I supposed to make a new character again?

My first instinct is why? level all the way to see the new storyline is the only reason I can think of as any other diablo 4 system isn’t inticing enough to do this over and over again. What am I missing here? Also, keep in mind that I have a lvl 50 HC char that I was going to use for seasons when they add D/C protection, but again…is it worth it? Just relevel every few months…?

Well that’s seasons for you …

The leveling process is pretty quick and there is some new content added every time. Seasons allow them to rotate and add new content without affecting the eternal realm and, if you like that, compete in the race to 100 and content clearing with others.
