Hello there,
Since the expansion has come out, my PC is randomly rebooting while playing the game, no BSOD or anything, plain reboot.
It never happened before the expansion, and never happened with other games.
My specs are fairly above minimum, playing with high settings, fps capped at 60. My pc / drivers are up to date, and I have no temp issues.
It usually happens when opening a menu / doing something in the map (checking renown, putting a marker, etc…).
Not only this is annoying, I fear that this will impact my hardware, which would be unacceptable.
Seems there are other people experiencing this, even before the expansion.
Thanks in advance for fixing this, it should be priority for the hardware of players.

Same exact problem for me. And only with D4 since expansion.

This has happened to me only once, but it was odd as I was on menu section.
same for me, I had a couple restarts already

Same here, I have tried several things. Updating and scanning PC (RAM, SSD, BIOS update etc.), but it must be something about D4…what to do - thx :)?

Having the same issue, I thought it was graphics drivers related so I rolled back, which does seem to have cut down on the number of times it happens, but I’ve still being having at least one crash a day since the expansion launched which isn’t ideal.

I’ve been having the exact same issue. 3080 with most updated driver. Been monitoring temps and they are all fine. Played with settings, doesn’t seem to matter. This just started with the expansion’s release, has never happened before with any other game or with D4 prior to the expansion. No error, no BSOD, just a crash to black screen, then computer hard restarts. Kind of worrying tbh.

Add me to the list. I upgraded my RAM to 32GB to make VoH run respectably. Thought the reboots were a dodgy RAM stick or overheating, but no… it’s the game. Nothing else causes any problems, no matter how heavy the load.

So, has it been fixed in the recent patches ?

I’m also having this same problem. At first I thought it was a problem with my computer. I ended up doing all the hardware tests but I couldn’t detect anything with a problem. Everything was normal. Temperature, memory clock, CPU, GPU and RAM usage, power supply voltage, nothing with a variation in the tests. However, when I’m playing Diablo, it crashes and my computer restarts after about 5 seconds with it frozen. The Windows log events show a critical alert saying that the system crashed and it ended up being shut down. Diablo 4 is the only game that has this problem. I’m 100% sure that this problem is with Diablo 4. You can rest assured with your computers.

Mine did this a few nights ago. So its not just you.
I’m running into this issue as well. I thought the install may have been corrupted or something, so i ran a scan. No issues with the scan, but the restarting persists.
Im on version 2.0.4.59238
