Playing lightning sorceress, lvl93 at the moment, able to PL some low lvl to NM tier 50.
Loving the build, good at range, good at melee, excellent at bossing
need some parangon for it to really start shining tho, with the stun and the crackling energy board

personal opinion but you mentioned you feel weak and iām a lit sorc so I thought Iād throw you a bone. 1. take all but 1 point out of your ball lightning, put those point into frost nova/2. Use frost nova/lightning spear enchantments./ 3. Raise lucky hit so that you spawn static lightning balls/4. Get aspect that makes them orbit around you. /5. donāt knock it til ya try it.
avoid crackling energy at all cost, i specced for it got it in gear over and over again and i thought thats not bad. avoid crack energy like the crack it is. It will ruin your diablo life.
I use it more like a CC applicator/utility than a major part of my damage. I just use the damage from the glyph and thatās it. Also have the ability that when I pick one up my mana is restored(4)
Chain Lightning is good for leveling, but starting level 30 you should switch to Ice Shards. They do more ST damage, you can easily affix a legendary to make it pierce and you will have points to have both nova, ice shield and fire bolt with ice shards as enchantment.
You may return to Chain Lightning build as it is sick on Tier 3 with all the crit bonuses from burning enemies.
But on T4 its either Arch Leash or Ice Shard. Fire Wall build is destroyed by bubble enemies or low pop dungeons, while Charged Bolt build needs unique staff, which requires you to turn off the soundā¦ Play it and you will know what i mean.
