So I have a friends birthday coming up. Was planing to gift Vessel of Hatred as a present, but there is no gift button.
Been looking it up and only thing I get is that “Some products may be restricted for gifting”.
So my question is… Why whould Diablo be restricted? I mean, you can gift WoW expansions, so why not Diablo? Atleast there should be a way to get a redeem code from the battle.net site, and not have to jump on a third party website.
If they come from regions not allowed gifting due to the regions bad real life currency rate you cannot gift.
You could try to gift “Battle.Net Balance” worth the amount of the expansion price you wanted to gift to your buddy. It’s only potential workaround, but would not have you go through some third party site for a key.
Has any official reason been provided yet?

can’t gift the game to a friend. US trying to gift to US.

Also, you can gift Dialog IV, just not the expansion
