Recommendations for the console mapping

I played the beta on PS5, and while the gameplay was in overall fluid and easy to master, there were still several points i wouls like to share:

  • Move the health potion to triangle instead of L1. That was the first map change I did almost before even playing the game, alleviating me from a lot of confusing situations in combat.

  • Could right analog be used in combat to aim while being stationary?

  • I felt that it was a huge, missed opportunity to not use the DualSense’s touchpad to easily navigate on map or on tabs, as well as that I missed much more vibrations during combat from the controller. It left me feel disconnected from the fight in general.

  • With the DualSense on PS5, L2 and R2 have adaptive resistance on pressure. Could applied button resistance be applied here for, for example, when certain spells and abilities still is on cooldown?

There is a lot of potential and new opportunities that the new console controllers can give to their players. Don’t hesitate to unlock the game’s full potential with the opportunities that the new controllers have.
