Made a refund, I’ll buy the game in half a year. The necromancer is dead on normal mode, he is killed. Blizzard have reduced survivability and damage to skeletons by 70%. I’ve always played as a necromancer, thanks, but I won’t pay for this.

I’ll be joining you on the refund train cause the devs messed this game up bad. I was actually raging from a simple early game encounter.

the game looks like a 2015 game… and i dont mean only on graphic, the way they manage the npc conversations, not allowing u to have zoomed camera, and u are stuck only with head bobble and arms moving for the npcs, is so lame and boring… more when u are forced to do it 7 times across the beta… and they saying “its not a forever game” it will get boring, they have same philosophy as in D3, they dont mind you to stop playing, you already spent 70€ on the game… this game should cost 40-50€ at max… if enough ppl dont purchase it , maybe they realize, coz they listen to comunity, but only for making more profit on theirs game, not for making more accesible and easy and enjoyable for the players… make a cinemaric camera angle for NPC conversations, ffs what is doing blizard in 2023 ? they’re stuck in the past… are we getting a farming simulator game or a 2023 game experience? i mean… whot? imagine witcher 3 having npc conversations with the same camera as you play, it will be stupidly boring… MAKE MORE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE ON WHATEVER CONCERNS THE LORE AND NPC INTERACTIONS IN THE GAME PLEASE… the game will have literally 2-3 cinematics per act? or knowing blizard, they put all the effort on this first act then will get even worse for the rest of the campaign… ?

Shame for you guys, i am having absolutly blast and so far i can say i havent enjoyed a game like this for a decade.
But yeah, its personal preference. But anyway the graphic is breathtaking as the whole theme and atmosphere

I played Necromancer all weekend. Beat Ashava 2 times on tier 2.
Necromancer is so powerful, also, you know if you equip a shield your skeletons get a massive buff to defence also.

My skeleton necromancer destroyed bosses at lvl 20 and I only had one legendary that didn’t even buff minions. I don’t know what you did but your build was far from correct. Yes, they die often on bosses, that’s why you spec into talents that creates corpses to use to summon new ones.

I played all beta’s and just didnt have any fun. Ill probably just wait until the first expansion and hopefully they come out with set gear and some type of rift system
Clearly playing Necro wrong.
He’s super strong if you build him correctly.
I was solo-tanking dungeons and bosses on WT2 without a problem during the server slam.
He’s just not “EZ Mode” like in Diablo 3 any more, they’ve balanced him at last

I will be honest, played through 4 characters to level 20 over the weekend, and I only got two legendary drops. And they were both from Ashava boss, lol.
You don’t really need them at this level I think. Not until we get to World Tier 3 perhaps.
Exactly. My gf is very casual, mostly likes sim games, like Cities Skylines or 3rd person adventure games. (Even then I get called in to fight bosses often).
She beat Ashava in tier 2 1st time on her 1st play of diablo 4 as a Druid. All rare gear except the legendary amulet Vigo gives you.
If my gf can do it, I can say without a shadow of doubt, anybody who learnt her patterns and didn’t die 666 times could easily do it. Don’t die, do damage, profit.
So do you think they need to make a game for an old man? In that case, I would refund.
They did not revert,they actually semi ‘‘buffed’’ skeletons and its still FAR from what it used to be in previous beta weekends.
Even that was done after ‘‘Rod’’ tested his favorite class himself , not because people asked for it.
Necromancer felt OP, so does not matter, literally god tier.
