It’s so obviusly that D4 is not a PC Game, you did this game for Consoles, interface its annoying and ugly, it’s simple, so simple and poor of content than i think even diablo immoral has a better interface… PC players, needes and deserve, a PC made interface, this is not a cheap game, and you give us trash. Besides that there are a lot of big QL issues but you should solve this, you always keep interacting with character ui in ARPG’s, so imagine having to keep looking and interacting with a basic and ugly UI made for xbox… Shame
I play both on PC and Console and your post is so untrue in its core.
This post is yet another complaint post.
If you want to be useful to the Community and Blizzard make a detailed post, with specific feedback. Otherwise this post will be forgotten.
Have a nice day
How is this interface more suited for consoles than pc ?
I play on pc and personally i dont have any gripes with the UI in D4, it seems fitting and simular to what it´s predecessor´s where in the past.
Do you have any suggestions on how to make the interface more for pc users ?
i am usually pissed if i see games being optimized for consoles and they forget that pc is the superior platform (yes, it is…) but i have to disagree with you. the interface and controls are top on pc except for that stupid chat button mapping which can’t be changed and gets hit by my fat fingers every once in a while
Exactly. I am on my ps5 today after playing on PC all night, last night. It is a much better PC interface.
The UI in D4 is very simmilar to the UI in D2 and D3, and very suited to pc gameplay. I feel like this UI would be a nightmare to navigate on console compared to pc. Every arpg i have played, Diablo and otherwise, had UI’s like this one, i see absolutely nothing wrong with it.
It’s pretty good, it’s context sensitive and as I play co-op with my missus we can both navigate our halves of the screens quite simply. Not as fast as on PC, and sometimes the pop up tiles obfuscate stuff in the background you want to see. For instance I often have to move the “highlight” inventory slot to an empty slot so the pop up tiles stop blocking my armour, power etc.
The main screen UI is a complet trash. The Blizzard make the consol players prio.
Total nonsense the UI. I did a post when the chat window triggering some clicking.
Here you can see. The quality is bad but i just upload it.
I have 7 issue and solution how can be much much better the main UI, but no one cares i think. ![]()
By all means lay them down, you never know ![]()
Yeah sure !
Simple thing : You can’t swap items and check your stats at the same time cause the infos of your gear overlap !
Bag space/bank is RIDICULOUS.
Consumes and Nightmare dungeon tab is the SAME?
Secondary quest following is a nightmare.
You can’t check your Passives while Enchanting an item ! (so when it rolls (+2 to this passiv) you can’t check the passive ingame???)
Just open you eyes and stop beeing so delusional please
I’ve been playing the wrong game all this time? ![]()
By reading these posts and topic, looks like you guys bought fake diablo 4 game ![]()
It’s literally the same in WoW and I am still able to play the game completely with fun while doing so.
You are make a mountain out of a molehill.
Ok, so you are this kind of people who enjoys having the minimum when you can have bunch of little improvements that accumulate in the same way those little annoyance accumulate when u play a lot.
i don’t like this kind of mentality
and i just numbered “some” of the little things that are just stupid when you come from the arpg genre.
Remember when u saw ur crafting materials before your stats in the beta? that’s one little improvement that feels real good.
I think you fail to see that developers put restrictions into games to make people play a certain way as they do intend.
For example the inventory and bank space limitations are there for hoarders to actually manage their stuff like a normal person should, forcing them to visit towns more often, sell or dismantle stuff more often and only keep what is REALLY important while throwing most useless stuff away.
Edit: Also, don’t forget you can buy additional bank space with gold afaik.
Stats matter for gameplay more than crafting does, because the stats are relevant at all times in combat and the world while crafting materials are only important to see at the moment you are actually crafting.
You may have your preferences, but that doesn’t mean the game developers share them.
seeing what you are talking about you are either new to the genre or very casual.
those are basic componnent of the genre, if they are not met, you have no game so yes they are here. But, for your bank exemple, i got the 4 stash, and nearly got them full with only 1 84+ char.
I can’t imagine managing those when you have 3.
Plus When u start farming nightmare dungeons, you have to put your potions in the bank or it’s a constant mess in the bags. but i guess you’re not there yet.
Can we talk about Aspect management in the bank?
Same icons for different spells + different rolls. again it’s a mess and not enjoyable to look at every item you put there cause you know “one of those is the best one but i have to check everyone of em”
and i can continue for a long time, and this is just “UI” we’re talking about.
i don’t care about the map overlay, and that is the “that developers put restrictions into games to make people play a certain way as they do intend.”
and you agree with my last opinion on stats, but beta testers had to Tell blizzard to change that …
If I remember correctly, the devs already stated they are working on an aspect storage solution for the next major patch.
then i’ll continue trying to make the game a better place for everyone.
Do that, if you think you are contributing with your statements. I won’t stop you. I just think you have complaints about certain aspects of the game that aren’t really a problem.
