What? I killed 2 today and got some awesome drops.
Plus he is a fun fight.
We need MORE assassins like the Butcher. It’s a great and unique feature.

Remove it from low level. The damn thing is fast, powerful and hard to kill. Once you have options to prevent him from just straight out owing you, you stand a better chance… but you really do need those options first.
Personally I’d say he should be a level 30+ spawn.

Cmon guys. You do not like surprises? In worst case he will just kill the character and your equipment gets broken a bit and he is gone.
For me it was cool experience because I did not know that he spawns like that. It was almost like meeting butcher for the first time in Diablo 1. I thought it was very clever idea to use him like that by Blizz.
(btw the first one I have met got my character killed, but I got my revenge 3 times now (I am lvl 72) 
The first kill was difficult and I got lucky because there was fountain in the dungeon and I could kite him around it. Looked like scene from Benny Hill and it took ages to put him down 
)

My first kill of him was at level 25, because I got lucky and had a pylone nearby, and he dropped me my very first legendary on this game.
Sorry but I wouldn’t want that opportunity and that cool moment removed just because you can’t deal with the idea of being killed once in your playthrought.

I ran into the butcher myself on my sorc at around level 25 or so… yep he moves fast as he just rushes etc… but it was quite easy overall as i had +movement speed, + teleport + dodge + evade… i mean overall i let the hydra do all the work and i just ran around in circles… my barriers instant kicked in and so did aspect of the protector, basically an easy win just alot of dodging which tbh is the same as most of the elites… you either stand still and arc whip them to death on instant stun… or on bosses like the butcher you just run around and let the hydra do all the work.

The Butcher is a great power check.
- If he kills you, you don’t have enough defensive thingies.
- If you can’t kill him, you don’t have enough offensive thingies.
The Butcher really is, hard, then medium, then hard, then “hey was there a butcher” or did i hear “fresh meat” somewhere?

Spoiler he gets harder, as you start getting higher in nightmare dungeons he gains a massive overshield that replenishes and regains health, before it was a hey its the butcher and kill him, now its a oh crap when you are pushing mobs 15 levels up from you and he is too.

for me to, they can remove that stupid butcher thing and make him a worldboss instead off an enoying spawn in dungeons.
Why so harsh with The Butcher? He is a social fellow!, he’s always willing to meat new ppl to play.

Nope, after killing the Butcher I sat down and feasted on his corpse with a nice Merlot and Blueberry tart for dessert.
