They already did take care of it. I am 100% sure they not gonna change thier decision. They will sit silent like nothing. But cheaters/exploiters/boters will exist in any game nowadays. I did never see any game that could handle in 100% any of cheat/bots. You either ignore it or just play only single player games.

Isn’t this funny, how they don’t care about their own rules? Problaly because some Streamer or YouTuber got those Uniques. If they dont’ respect it, i wont respect them or it either.

to be fair they need to remove that items i think. watching streams and videos what i saw from them only 142 people not complaining because they have it.
Note: at the first place i dont like idea of making that items so uber rare. there is no meaning of chasing them because u cant win lottery. i like them drop more often like in 3 months season most of players can have a few of them. not like zod rune in d2 ( a life time chase)

There’s not even a debate to be had here. They state it in their own TOS/EULA that exploiting bugs is not allowed and punishable.
So why haven’t they punished people for it? I’ll tell you why… Because they dropped their marbles. They’re afraid of the aftermath. They’re afraid of a small portion of the player base who went against their TOS/EULA and ‘cheated’ to get the most rare items in the game due to a bug, and Blizzard hate taking full responsibility for their own incompetence.
Without voicing our concern and giving feedback/complain, nothing will ever happen nor change, period. This is why we have to keep voicing our concerns, give them feedback and complain when they go mess things up and let them know where we stand on this. It is NOT ok for Blizzard to let these players get away with this.
Most other devs i know would’ve removed these items from these player’s inventories and given them a ban for a week or two or even permanently depending on the severity.
In the end, Blizzard should’ve tested it properly before releasing it, but we’re all born with free will, and humans will always pick the shortest route possible in order to obtain something, in this case, a bug that these players knew about and exploited to get ultra rare items.

As you are the paragon of virtue and defender of what is right, answer me this. How do you differentiate people who allegedly used an exploit from people that just played the game and got lucky?
Is it fair to rob those legit players of their uber rare loot just because blizz messed up their patch?
I can only see envy in people who demand the removal of items. There is no leaderboards, there is no trading and the only avantage is for the player that has the item and no down side for people that dont.
Lol please. Do you live in 2003 or something? It’s easy as fuck to determine for a company like Blizzard who keeps logs of everything you do in their game for several years.
They perfectly know who suddently went to hardfarm helltide and open helm chest with multiple characters out of the blue.
Not to mention how low the probably of one legit item dropping during this specific window of time is to begin with. We’ve had two legit drops since the game launched, but new legit ones have dropped during that specific period of like, an hour? Give me a break.
If you can only see envy in people who complain about cheating, I’m not sure what can even be answered to such a flawed logic.

Exploit was not them getting the damn item,exploit was how they managed to open same chest multiple times.
And you telling people they have no idea what exploit is,while you have no damn clue what happened in the first place? Are you kidding me?

None of the players who obtained said items during the time when the bug was live, did not get their items ‘legit’. That’s also another way to find out who exploited the bug…
I can only see stupidity in people who defend people who exploit bugs in any online game.
Unless you’ve been living under a tiny rock for the past year or more, this game has PVP, and those items will have an insane impact on PVP.

A bug being taken advantage of by players is the very definition of exploiting a weakness in the game.
When these people logged in and started trading groups and group invites to open multiple chests, then they knew they were exploiting said bug.

All you have is assumptions of peoples motives and none of the facts or evidence. Cant argue with someone who already decided that im right and everyone else is wrong, to hell with evidence.
What else is there when you focus that much energy on what other people do and demand their items to be taken away when there is no way to know who got a legit drop. Your logic isnt flawless either.
Oh do you mean that highly competitive and balanced D4 PVP where thorns build barbarians farm noobs afk? If you gave every player a instagib nuke it wouldnt make a difference in D4 PVP because it aint balanced anyway. What i mean to say is that your argument is moot because PVP is the only potential way those items can impact you.

If you believe there is “no evidence” for such exploits, that’s because you have absolutely zero knowledge of how server logs works.
