Removing one shot mechanics in the Pit

Hello everyone,

Me and some of my friends have been playing Season 4 since the start and mostly been enjoying it a lot.
However, we all had the same take on the end bosses of the Pit, some of us are doing ~70 tier while some ~110 tier pits+, We all feel the one shot mechanics seem too extreme for content as the Pit.
Does anyone else feel the same way? or is it just us : P

I do. It is SO frustrating that I have to skip some pit fights because they seem impossible. Some times the ground is crowded with all the things the boss and the two shadow bosses leave on the ground that it is impossible to move.

They should remove one shadow boss and make that boss deals half damage. Maybe at least we can survive one hit.

Oh that is another thing. I forgot to mention thanks.
The effects are sometimes overlapping or not clear enough to avoid.

I started considering removing all defensive layers and investing in my DPS as currently Im OS most of the time despite 30K life, capped resists and capped armor

Pit 70, 50K HP, fortify, cap res, keep my distance and 1 hit = death. I mean 1 hit, not 2 or 3 hits, poison or something like this nor freeze or bonewall. 1 Hit from the “shadow boss” and you are dead. Thats … i dont know what this is. Blizzard STOP IT. If you dont know how boss fights work LOOK AT OTHER GAMES. Not hard, just friggin do it. Blizzard you copy all the time why not GOOD GAME DESIGN?

Feels like DEVs are trolling meta build bot users :thinking: No way you could progress this far without exploiting some kind of intentional disbalance of the end game where nothing unique and your own matters

Pray tell me: are thou trolling? No srls what are you talking about?
Pit bosses need a review because of these one-shots. Defense means nothing for bosses at pit 60 and above and thats nonesense.

I can’t did anythig above 61 as Sorcerer in the PIT !
i cant do dmg of runinng and watching.
the things on the ground,the balls, the adds and boss it too much for the start!
i dont wanna think about over 100!

I mean its not just in the pit with this oneshot bs…

i just found a new one… to me at least… in a nm 97 … absolut faceroll the entire dungeon, not once at risk of dying… get to the boss, get oneshot by his default melee attack, lul. Like literally effortlessly gone through the entire dungeon, get to the boss. slap, dead.

Well and also got reminded, that blizzard is terrible at making ground effects, because my own ground effect overwrites bosses deathpuddles, which is absolutly fun.

Its not about the 1 shots. There are times when you are standing 100% in correct or safe area and then you just die. Im not going to waste my time playing a game that does not function properly. Some attacks are poorly visualized. Sometimes they lag.

That happens to me a lot. That’s because some of the shots are not shown before they happen so you can’t get out of there. The shot just happen.

Some other times you are surrounded by poison, moving tornados, fire balls flying and then Lilith appears and do the spikes thing on the ground… then you think: “that was IMPOSSIBLE”. All the screen is filled with things that will kill you instantly and there’s no where to go. Too much going at the same time. That is not fun.

I am starting to feel like they made it impossible/almost impossible intentionally. No way it could exist at current state just by accident. They have programmers/testers, right? Not to mention this forum exists
