My Sorc is currently lvl 73 and i was just about managing to do nightmare dungeons on WT4 but since this update I cannot even do Helltide events with out dying for just stepping out of a town into one. Enemys can one shot you THROUGH your barrier, It now takes you ages to kill things because dps has been nurfed so that and the barrier nurf if you dont kill something before it unfreezes your dead. Even the unique chest piece that to be honest is the ONLY good thing the sorc had going for it now only stuns things for half a second if your luck so if you dont Frost Nova in time bang your dead. My Lucky Hit chance is around 45% which helped me keep barriers going on cooldowns sorted but may as well be 100 now as it means sweet FA. Seriously you may as well PAY Xbox to put this on gamepass now because you have ruined the game with all the Nurfs
Unfortunately I can only agree with that before patch 1.1.0 the Sorc was already not really strong but now 50% less damage and still holds less than before the patch. Level 100 Sorc is in a NM dungeon on 53/54 just cannon fodder. How please is that supposed to work with the Sorc that you get maximum XP in S1 if you can not even create mobs that are 4-5 levels above you because simply onehited. I had expected from the patch that the Sorc can now get a little love but the opposite is the case here.
Some key points:
Cooldowns which is already very important for the Sorc was reduced by 30%.
Crit Dmg was also reduced
Armor was reduced
Various damage reduction has been reduced so that you can die even faster.
Resis still do not work correctly whereby one has as a Sorc also this survival problem at all.
And and and.
So in my eyes, the Sorc as it currently is in higher Nightmare Dungeons no longer playable this was literally broken generated now.

Ive started as a sorcerer, always loved this class. After reaching lvl 100 and seeing that its pretty much only good at killing normal mobs, moved to other class and stopped playing it. Logged into the sorcerer after the patch…its trash, cant even clear what i used to do before…
Good patch overall…few more like this and Microsoft will buy Activision for cheaps ^^

You completely sure ? I spent whole day testing things, and around 100mil for respecs and i found a nice build that actually:
- doesn’t die
- clear pretty fast
- and easily do NM60
i mean, ok i have pretty solid gear but the paragon boards, aspects, etc were just used as i had them, not even perfect, some from the book, and the dungeons without any great affixes.
Ok, i main sorc also and im also kinda mad on how its been treated, but its not a braindead class at this point at least and keeps you on your toes, to be totally honest, its not that bad if you spare 1-2 items and around 20 paragons for some survi… it does decent damage, moves fast… could be worse.
And i did a wacky build, with chain lightning and frozen orb… NM60 with no bigger issues, obviously 70+ is kinda out of reach but hey! is it even worth doing ?

60 is nothing lol… other classes can easily do much higher
And remember that, as sorc, you will never look cool. You only have the belly dancer option or the confused crossdresser at Rio’s carnival one.
i have to say i’ve changed nothing on my arclash build unstable currents quick cd. And ye bit more Splat when not taking care and not even got fulll paragon where i want but meh. we gpt fairly screwed they know that and i will stay sorc as it was never my main class but love it
