I believe that s11 makes tempering and masterworking blunt and shallow.
Yes, it is a good thing that tempering has unlimited uses but it’s a bad thing that you can only have one temper from temper affixes. This will remove the ability to adjust skills and build mechanics. For example, I now have the ability to temper on amulet both brawling CDR + Leap CDR and this fact enables me to create a build with no CD Leap.
The masterworking changes are even worse because instead of amplifying an important mechanics’ affix (like chance for x to do double damage), it just only affects damage on weapons, armor on gear and resistances on jewelry.
For me sanctification is bricking on steroids. Almost all people will need to have full sanctified gear for pit pushing and that means if no proper sanctification on item people will break them (like we do now with bad tempers). Not only will they brick, but also they will brick after spending resources for tempering and masterworking. Now we first temper and then we spend resources for enchanting and masterworking.
Finally, the worst part of all is that sanctification will brick items 80% of the times flat without having any option to retry.
Effectively that means that we will spent a lot of time on diablo.trade to buy 1GA items in order get a chance to get one unbricked instead of playing the game.
This season was great for me because all the item I have are drops due to chaos armor.
I’m not sold on this change either. I rarely brick an item these days, and now instead the risk of bricking, you have a whole extra affix to grind for, as if it wasn’t tedious enough to find items with 2-3 correct affixes, now they add a 4th? Amulets are already a freaking nightmare, this is gonna make it so much worse.

well if they gonna change your gear to crap every few month apart… why even bother trying to build a character… 2 seasons later your gear becomes invalid once again
why do they even have an eternal realm when you get screwed over time and time again ,as soon as you get close to that full GA build they change items and you drop from pit 130 to pit 40
Yeah. Unless they actually increase the value of some of these tempers (and/or make them available to more items slots) or make them available on unique items, some builds will not be viable anymore due to lack of enabling multipliers they needed on, let’s say, jewelry. It will help make earlier weapon gearing easier though I guess, but the 4 affixes on legendary gear will mean we no longer have to only get an item with 2 “good” stats and enchant the unused one, but 3. We’ll see how it goes, but honestly, there’s so many useless affixes on items that unless they change how enchanting works, it’s going to frustate some people even more.
Sure, some sanctified items could end up having new affixes, but it’s bound to brick a lot of items if the tempered affix you needed end up being replaced with another “sanctified” affix you don’t need (and the laughable “ignore durability loss” affix is pretty much useless… who dies so often that they cannot repair their gear? I’m sure the most probable sanctifying scenarios are going to be ignore durability loss and replace an affix with another just to mess with us…

deleting 2 for specific 1 we chose. So every build will be more close to another build.
