I have to say I really enjoyed playing the campaign. Thought the story was great. Trouble is the endgame has no objective. Just grind and hope you get something better but what for ? It may take a long time but eventually you will get to 100 then what? Maybe a campaign story line for each character would perk up the story and keep people interested. Oh by the way how can you call a game Diablo without Diablo ? I will give it a chance to see how it develops and maybe love it again.

Dialogue was a bit cringe towards the end of the campaign. Other than that, it was pretty good.

After a hiatus of over a month I jumped back in to see if there was anything redeeming about D4 I’d actually missed. After a few minutes I was reminded why I left it in the first place. A boring, unappealing, slog fest. I’ll look in when S2 drops but atm, D4 is not worth investing what little game time I have when there are far better games out there. As it stands, it’s an embarrassing, cycincal, little cash grab.
Story mode, cinematics and lore explanation during story mode was the best the game could offer. Past level and story mode the game is meh.
The worst part is that they think reading 40% faster to lvl 100 is end game!!!
Season 2 will be almost the same with season 1. Now we will be 100 40% faster to ONLY face Duriel.
We will lvl via NM dungeons as we already did… another big failure from this company.
