if anyone knows… what happend when you salvage an occult gem? for example, if salvage a legendary occult gem… do you recover magic and rare occult gems?, just the fragments?.. what exactly do you get back?

And I can’t understand yet where to get resources on them in order to craft. 
Step 1. Run roothold dungeons to obtain Draught of Whispers elixirs. Keys for roothold dungeons can be found while completing whispers in headhunt areas.
Step 2. Use Draught of whispers elixirs, each elixir lasts 1 hour.
Step 3. With the elixir buff active, kill Headless Husks in either Rootholds or more efficiently in Headhunt areas. Headless husks have a low chance of dropping Fugitive heads, the key component in crafting Occult gems. The Fugitive heads are quite rare, so dont be discouraged if you dont find any within the first hour or two.
Step 4. Once one or more Fugitive heads are obtained, visit Gelena at the tree of whispers, to craft your gems.
There are 3 types of gems, magic(blue), rare(yellow) and legendary(orange). A rare gem will require 2 magic gems to craft, and a legendary gem will require 1 rare gem and 2 magic gems making the total cost of one legendary gem 4 Fugitive heads.
The specific gems required to craft each gem varies, so check the rescipes before crafting.
In addition to Fugitive heads, you will need Restless rot from headhunt areas and a large quantity various regular gem fragments.
On a side note, in case anyone is wondering, the Draught of whispers is also used to increase the chance of finding Forgotten Altars, wich unlock the missing witch powers.
Forgotten Altars can be found in most dungeon types, including Nightmare dungeons, The Pit, Rootholds and Kurast Undercity. Like Fugitive heads, Forgotten Altars are also quite rare, and it can take several hours to come acoss one. Forgotten Altars have a very noticable seasonal minimap icon, so keep an eye on your minimap while running dungeons, and you can’t miss it.

Thank thee, I thought that the elixir was needed only to find the altars in nightmare dungeons and I did not use them in special Witch’ ones.
i suppose the reason why no one is answering the question is that if you salvage an occult gem, you do not get the gem fragments back, only the restless rot.
not really sure why go to answer, in length, a completely irrelevant ask and ignore the topic itself.

seems alot of work for an item that will just work in this season instead of giving a low drop chance for the gems, like it was for the seasonal items in D3, now its seems Blizz is trying to keep you online.
Not really, you are gonna be doing all these things anyway if you are planning to complete the season objectives.
On the contrary i would think most people like to have something to work towards in seasons, and would be disappointed if D4 seasons were as simple as D3 seasons.
