Salvaging Unique Items do not unlock skin?

Not sure if this is intended or a bug. Salvaging unique items does not unlock the skin for transmog.
Also, I think unique items should be actually “unique”, in that not only should they be powerful and build-defining, they should all LOOK unique as well. I play a druid and I noticed that the unique helm and chest piece share skin with other normal armor pieces.

Yes. Hoping Blizzard get the transmog scene on par with d3, at least.

Because if they DON’T, we know it’s because they are trying to force us to the store.

The Store that wants a third of the cost of the game for a transmog set… Hahahahahahaa.

I mean, buying them is a double slap, everyone knows you bought it, it was not found in a difficult dungeon and they know you were willing to pay 2500 platinum for the dishonour of using it.

Apperances should unlock by obtaining the item, not salvaging it. Thats how it worked in D3, and it was a excellent system.

Everything in that shop should be achievable through playing.

Lets be real those cosmetics should have been drops (PURPLE) or through achievements like killing 100 players, clearing nightmare 60, 70, 80 or killing uber lilith.

This shop, say whatever, ruined the grind in this game because we have LESS to grind for. Cosmetics should be grindable but never will because of shop.

Very bad. Atleast give us options to win them.

I wouldnt want to wear shop skins either way cause thats the biggest noob flag one can wear.

Big example: if shop sells a awesome set and uber lilith were to drop a yellow banana helm Id wear the banana helm cause of Prestige. Thats the truth and most would do.

Skin that is gotten through hard content is alwys better than shoped. But currently they didnt add skins for hard content. Thats only cause of the shop.

Its not pay 2 win cause its only skins but the game is still cut.

Imagine finding unique skins. Imagine. That would atleast add another thing to farm for since shako has a chance to drop simular to randomly finding a powerball ticket with the correct numbers on the streets of LA. Heck even that is more likely than finding shako
