Season 5 quest: To the Edge of the Abyss bug

Locran doesn’t appear in the Imperial Palace.

Whenever I’m outside of the Imperial Palace, the quest waypoint is visible.
Whenever I go to the Imperial Palace to meet Locran, the quest waypoint disappears.

I’ve tried a game reboot, and gone in and out of dungeons. I cannot get Locran to appear.

Other players in the area also seem to have the same issue - Someone I was chatting to in local chat said that they had seen him, but got disconnected and now he’s disappeared.

Level 49 sorc in world tier 3.

[Edit: Switching to world tier 2 made him appear. And switching back to world tier 3 made him disappear again.]

same here, he does not appear.

as suggested, did the quest in t2, it worked fine.

FFS same here… great game! Had to relaunch twice as it hangs at launch and this quest is still bugged?? shame…
