I cant seem to unlock Sigil crafting in Seasons, i had no problem with my “soon to be” level 100 Necromancer in the Eternal realm. I get Sigil nightmare dungeon drops from Tree of Whispers ranked 12. and the drops from the Nightmare dungeons are also only rank 12 drops. Anyone know why? is it a bug, or have i done something wrong ? Level 54 Rouge in Seasons.
As far as I am aware you need to complete a Rank 3 Nightmare Dungeon to unlock Sigil crafting.
Yeah, it requires you to complete a level 3 or higher nightmare dungeon. I had gotten stuck on that for a while too

I have completed 10 level 12 nightmare dungeons as it is the only option i have, all i get is level 12, but i cannot get access to the crafting options still.
This is probably a silly question but are you sure it is a rank 12 dungeon and you are not just looking at the retries you get ? You always get 12 retries on the lower dungeons.
Saying that I have done around 10 dungeons tier 1 or 2 as no tier 3 sigils are dropping at all no matter what I do to earn them.
I’m going to do 5 more tomorrow and see if it improves any.
I´ve done more than 20 NM dungeons T1 and cant find any NM Sigil T2 or 3
Can´t understand what´s happening, And no way of fixing it.
I think if you can make it to T4 the Tree of Whispers rewards you with Level 20+ sigils. If memory serves.
Other than that you’ve just had very poor luck

I´m currently levling on Tier 4. Guess i will give it a try
Sometimes it bugs out. Someone will need to stealth log in and fix it for you. I just kept on making posts until Blizz did something about it.
Found the solution.
Finished NM Tier 21 on WT 4 and the quest (Sigil Crafting) popped up.

Yeah i have that in mind too…just annoying i cant process my Season1 until then…i have another but with opening any random helltide chest, think i have opened about 30 diffrent once now. The mysterious helltideched did register on the Season quest line so that is fine. But it is annoying that it affects the Season quests…since that is mainly what seasons is about…cant wait to get seasons over…i kinda like just to play on the eternal server, and might do just that going forward after season 1
