They didn’t start with that amount of money. Start with a good story.
Start with a good story.
But they did, we are judging their game, not mine.
They did a superb job for Diablo 1, 2 and 3 (Although it was a different team), the Lore behind the game is great! I was really excited for the Lilith edition… so much potential. Wasted.
Well, yeah. That was a surprise for me. A big one actually. I didn’t play any “seasonal” game before and somehow i thought that after season ends - not just your character but all the seasonal goodies go to eternal realm and those who didn’t play the season just missed all the free/paid cosmetic stuff but get all seasonal mechanics implemented on eternal. That imo would be sensible. Wanna start over while season goes and earn some cosmetics? Go play during season. Cannot participate - no worries, you can wait till it goes to wide open eternal realm. Otherwise we have 2 games basically - the main one where you get bored after exhausting most possibilities and seasonal one where you get a little bit of new extra flavor for 3 months and all progress gets erased because who wants to play eternal with the characters without extra flair? You can do just that without any seasons. And it goes on and on like that. Sorry, but i like something a bit more permanent (yeah, i know that nothing’s permanent but still). The problem is that i cannot grasp the big idea behind these seasons if they’re temporary like that and bring nothing to the core game.
Once the season is over the seasonal gameplay ends and your character is transferred to the Eternal realm less the seasonal benefits.
And you start with a fresh new level 1 character for season 2 with different seasonal mechanics.
Don’t forget as time goes by, you will be deleting characters (max 10) to make way for new seasonal characters, if you continue with seasons that is.
Once you run out of character space for the extra seasons i.e. 9+, will they be selling us more character slots? I bet they will.
