Since I really hate to start every time from scratch - it is just boring, time consuming, repetitive and disfunctional - can I enjoy seasons and it’s content plus season passes with the same character, without starting from 0 each and every time?
You get all season content in the eternal realm when the season ends.
How Seasons work:
New Season, you start from scratch. Alternatively you can remain outside the Season and carry on with your character, but you’ll have to wait till the end of the season for the new stuff that were introduced in the season to be available to you.
Of course this means you’ll be missing out on all the Seasonal exclusive stuff in the Battle Pass, which are strictly all cosmetics if you care for it.
It’s a pain in the… I’m sick and tired of that way. The one thing that diablo immortal did good is that, not requiring to start from scratch to access new content.
I played ladders in D2 and D2 res, i played seasons in D3 (almost all of them), the latter just to acquire new cosmetics and try new areas/mechanics. But it’s boring
I seriously don’t see redoing renown to be appealing… 
That’s why it’s optional. Do what you want. 
The content is made to cover all types of players.

This is false. They have stated in one of the pre-release streams that most seasonal mechanics won’t make it to Eternal unless they are especially successful and would be beneficial for the core game. Unless you meant gear, characters and cosmetics, those to indeed transfer to Eternal.
i honestly can’t see how restarting each and every time from 0 is appealing. seasons should be available to everyone. if leaderboards is what “makes” the difference, just use it for players who start from 0 at each season. grind-leveling is not fun. it wasn’t in d2/d3 and is not in d4.
Nobody is forcing you to play the seasons. The seasons are what keep people going back to D2/D3. The reset is the point, if you don’t like it then what’s the problem just go play something else?
Why season can’t be the same as in other games? Why can’t we do the things which are dedicaed for season with our primary toon? I hate those seasons in D3 and if D4 will offer me the same endless starting over and over from the scratch i will leave D4 behind me, the same as i did with D3.
What is the point of playing season, collect new powerfull things, if straight after i can delete them, because will never use them again. Every new season i will need to start play new character without those things i collected in season before, so this way we play the game, collect things and delete them, start over and over again, catch the rabbit for what?
In every normal game seasons are addition to the world, something what gives a fun to the current world and its part of character progression…
this is quite the problem…
starting a new char etc. all fine and dandy but the renown crap is just super boring farm bs
on the plus side if altars are not resetting you got stage 1 renown immediately lol
but still those dungeons and side quests… meh
simply, the normal characters, the seasonal ones … as well as the hardcore ones are in 3 parallel universes
the first reason is that seasons are meant to unlock item sets and cosmetics
(which, in that season, may be more or less good for each class)
and usually normal people get bored playing the same character over and over again.
So in the season choose to play the character with the set that interests you most, maybe even just to unlock the transmog.
moreover, the achievements involve playing all classes in all modes, and are an integral part of the game
also there would be no challenge to play the seasons with endgame equip
during my hours on diablo, i deleted dozens of characters to create new ones
because that’s how diablo is played, then if you get attached to a particular character, you can play him in the normal world…
Sorry but you dont need to explain me how it works, because i exactly know how it work. If you like it thats fine, but i am telling you, me and 90% of my friends we do not like the system, every new season people jump in to game, after 2 weeks are bored and stop till next season, because the bound with your character is broken and farming items which you already know gonna be totally usless is without sense at all.
All the “content” which comes together with season, could be played on our current character in current world, there is no need to separe it.
D3 had randomly created a shape of map, and what? Still it was boring, people were saying it is how Diablo 3 works and this is fine, but as you see it was not and now they changed it, make it normal way and it’s way way better. The same with season. Noraml will make it less repeatable, less boring.
meanwhile, we’re speculating about something that hasn’t been released yet.

First of all you did not read my message at all. I said “if it’s gonna be the same as it was in D3” also i bought the game, because i do believe it will be not and i have plenty of reasons to believe in that. Now i am not so sure anymore since i read what other players says, before my message… Bro read, less emo more read…
