Shadow Damage Over Time Bug?

So, i keep periodically writing this messages. What is the issue with shadow Damage over time? If I infect someone with Blight ( The core skill not the key passive) should deal an X% on direct damage and a y% of DOT, BUT, what i cannot comprehend why it does not show on the lifebar of enemies, The DOT seems to work somewhat ( even if i have tryied to count the damage ticks and they don’t seem to do the proper damage) but i have no idea how much life i’ve damaged in total. It’s a random roulette to understand if i need to fire another blight or not, then if you use Ebonpiercer the whole thing seems to be “fixed” even if the bar get coloured only if one of the additional projectile hits the target and not the main blight shot.

Can someone help me? Am i missing something? is this a unique mechanic for this skill?

Does it work for you on the training dummy? Easier to see stuff there without the rest of the battle spam.

if anything is the opposite, on the manequin it looks so little, in battle goes alittle better, but with the same behaviour, i’ve been playing necromancer with blight since 1.0 and i feel like it was different at some point

Pretty simple answer, if the enemies move out of Blight they will stop getting damaged by it. So there’s no way to code their health bar to show how much damage they will end up taking. Unless you assume they will stand in it the entire duration.
