So Blizz is going to change the Sheperd’s aspect by removing Core and Wrath skills which means all builds using this will be useless now. The question is WHY WHY!?!?
The aspect was used as intended and now become worthless. What useless brain came up with this change!?!?
You know that there will be new builds in S5, do you?
I guess the idea was to enable greater build variety.
Problem is most druid builds are garbage tier and 50% net damage increase is going to do nothing. Some druid builds need about 500% more damage to become average.
If there are better new builds then they will be used…right?
And by disabling these builds the variety is also lesser. So still WHY WHY??
The whole point of these builds that use this is they take THREE skill positions to boost their CORE (and/or WRATH) skills. This will make it pointless as the WHOLE BUILD will have be NOT that. No tweak but something totally different or bin.
We were told the benefits to Druid would compensate for that. But they won’t as we will need to spam companion skills that we didn’t do before because we liked this build because we don’t SPAM keys but think about what we’re doing. We’re STILL not uber characters but you’re going to nerf it meaning REBUILD OR LOSE. Nasty.
Reason seems to be - keep Druid to planned builds Devs like and keep the class weak by taking away any strengths and giving a 20% improvement in places they keep them in the bottom spot.
That one was the worst thing in the game
imagine playing a tornado druid and using companions to boost your DMG?
what the actual ???
garbage design
if i play lighting storm or tornado i want to do dmg and boost my dmg with my skill and aspects that support it
not put companions on my bar lock others interesting spells out…
Wake up
The aspect was designed to boost CORE and WRATH skills…so basically used as intended. What’s wrong with that?
You’re right but they are not going to change it. My suggestion, replace Shepherd with retaliation and go the whole Fortify/Fortified route. There are a few aspects that boost fortify and a few which muliply damage based upon level of fortification. I kept Creepers but sacrificed Wolves and Ravens to get Debilitating Roar and a few extra passive points related to Fortify (you can filter on the skill point screen I found out).
Also swapped to Claw for my basic (so more shapeshifitng bear/wolf)
I’ve not tested how much damage it gives but it results in several multipler boosts as well as potentially (most of the time it seems) being Fortified which gives Damage Reduction.
Worth a try if you were a Pulverize Shepherd like me.
