I know everyone and their dog is downloading the patch, but 1MB/s? I’m on 1GB internet and using a wired connection, I should be blasting through the patch download. Not going to bed and getting up 8 hours later to see I still have 4 hours left. Blizzard is a massive company with phenomenal resources. They should have better bandwidth than this.

You people dont know how to change download limits? downloaded this thing in few minutes and had no problems.

go into your battle net download settings and change pre release to 11111111111111111 for both i did that and i already have downladed game on my PC and on my laptop

Second, why would Blizzard cap a pre-release at abysmal download speeds?! You don’t have to answer this question lol
They are not capping just the pre-release, it most likely has been capped by default to diablo patching completely.
Personally I had it unlimited by default, dont know why it would be turned on unless recent updates & intsallations have started to do it
Thanks guys. I wasn’t really thinking they had capped the download speed by default. I’m used to it being the other way round, but this being Blizzard I suppose I should have expected them to do the opposite
