well out of 9-10 million copies sold, the past 30 days only 6 mill players have been playing. so they lost 3-4 mill players already if those numbers are correct. next month its probably the opposite, 3-4 mill playing and 6 mill lost.
it will probably beat D3 as the worst launch ever, in terms of decline in playerbase.

Iāve searched and searched and the only thing I can find is Google Trends/Analytics, which show an 81% decrease in interest over the last month. Probably not very accurate, but it would suggest 7 - 8m people quitting.
Going to be a few days of Season 1 before being able to tell how many people came back.
Speak for yourself. Not interested in running inside malignant tunnels were at the end of the tunnels you can plug a bumhole with a bumplug they provide you with. Itās a very bizarre theme of a season indeed.

ye for maybe 5 days then player count will go down very fast as seasons is crap, what do they think? i am not going to do tha campain overt and over again, for what? for useless time consuming grinding ? nah not me lol, D3 was a good game, why did they go into such a boring game. I am 42, i have no time to go and grind like i a nolifer! so yes i uninstalled this game when i saw what the seasons included, no rewards only money grabbing skins! pff i guies you see the influence off microsoft here

People came to take what they paid for,battlepass fomo crap.
In 7 days from now,only few thousand players will remain,out of 10.000.000 copies sold.
It was a server issue. There were no more queues once it was sorted.
But that error served them to make people believe that they are playing like crazy, for an example we have the OP.
They have everything measured, nothing is casual. Or is it believed that todayās campfire was not planned?
Pretty much why I came back. Sort of a one last chance with season 1. But having run into more issues, I think Iāll have to just write the game off.
Also, turns out a post I made pointing out my disappointment in the game and devs has just been deleted by the mods and my account suspended, truth hurts I guess.

you are probably right, alot of players(including me) came back to try season, but thats also gonna drop rapidly, I am more frustrated than having fun playing, which means it will be a short run, just like a lot of others.
if google trends is correct I would not be surprised, D3 was the most sold game ever at launch, then 3 weeks after it had dropped what?, 80-90% ?

i got the battle-pass with the game so i figured āwhat the hell, ill do the first seasonā so this is the last chanse they get to prove to me its worth playing.
its ok i guess, but we all know exacly how its gonna go.
at about lvl 60 ill have my 2 rings and an amulet with the stats i want and the hearts to go with it, and after that its just endless grind to a lvl 100 im not gonna hit and im done.
with no endgame, this game WILL 100% die down to a hardcore fan base of 1mill players.
its a buiness i guess, if they are happy with that i guess the game is a sucessā¦
I never said I will stop playing but funny enough I havent started the game since the 18th of july since I have no push to play this game. Maybe cuz my class (sorc) feels like a joke, but thatās my oppinion and can differ from player to player. I love the artstyle of the game and the campaign was Ok ish for a Diablo game missing the main antagonist which is Diablo. I do enjoy the way the chars feel when casting skills but thatās all. I feel no drive to play this game and only lurk the forums to see if theyāll improve the game in some way. There is no dopamine rush with the current itemisation and after so many years of active developement you can cleary see they worked like robots on this game and have no love to put into it. D2R gives me more fun and has more dopamine rush when I see an unique drop compared to this game, a game made 20 years ago which I played as a kid and is still fun to this day, let that sink in.
