Or the servers are just crap, in my experience with the game (With my good PC and great internet connection) this is the case.

Admittedly a lot of people are probably returning for S1 after quitting the game, giving it one last chance… how long will that be the case? A few hours? A few days? The whole season? (Ha!)

Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a DDoS happening.

So you think there isnt just simply the possibilty, that the servers a kinda shit and thats why its ā€œoverloadedā€, than usual? This way it seems like the game is popular, but actually the server just bad af.

You guys have never been to a Blizzard launch before then, they are always a waste of time, better to just add about 6-8 hours to the ā€œrelease timeā€ in your mind because its always the same

Well I’m one that isn’t trying to log in and play S1… And I can bet there is others. But sure believe what you will and hey even what you say is true, it won’t be long till that drop off, or do you think hunting mostly mediocre gems(sorry content) will keep players engaged for 3 months?

This. Oh so much this. Been playing Blizzgames since WoW beta and I don’t remember a single launch going smoothly.

Mostly now I just come straight to the forums to laugh at people shouting FRAUD OMG BLIZZ SERVER TRASH and claiming their mum’s brother is a devops specialist and he says Blizzard just need to turn it off and on again to make it all work.

Well at least the login servers are still working, just not being able to connect to the game world is one of their better efforts.

It’s a big step forward.

And if you are lucky and do get into the game it will inevitably be a rubber band fest for a day or two till enough ppl get tired and stop playing.

I mean why buy enough servers to cope with the load when you can just provide a crap service and make people leave, its good financial sense

Well that is all that matters to the individual, if they are having fun… I have fun playing the game/s I am right now and reading these forums with the odd post(for now).

i only want to play the new questline and see the new boss of the season campaign. and bridge the time for Remnant 2 release… I will definitely not level to 100 again or farm any gear. Doing the questline if it’s good, then I’m done with Season 1.

And blizzard take a piss… still people have the queue issues… They has noty enough time to solve the problem?!

dude i stopped playing after release on lvl 70 because it sucked. now i came back and have to unlock the waypoints again??? for me this game is dead and i played over 1.000 hours of d2 and d3. and a lot of ppl will do the same.

it’s because of scaling issues, people stopped playing the game, they scaled down, season 1 starts, they slow to scale up, however few people decided to return.
Because the game sold like crazy that’s still a substantial number no matter how low the %.

I do not think it was from people coming back. I got in twice before the massive queue time and once after an insane queue time. I think I encountered like 5, at the most. My duo even joked and said, ā€œWell, they did want people to quitā€.
