Sorcerer hydra : different builds - Confused

I am building the maxroll sorcerer hydra. But different options appear: pit push, ancestral, mythical, etc…
And in some there is a normal helmet with +7 to hydra and in another there is a unique helmet (verglas) with +8 to shards and it slightly changes the build.

Which one do you recommend? I’m lost.

Start at Starter build when you hit 70, then gradually upgrade to Ancestral as you work your way through the Torment levels to start building Mythic at T3/T4, its a progression curve.

Pit push and Speed farming are just endgame variants for that specific activity.

Yes, but that’s what I mean. To make myself the best character possible, should I go mythical or pit push? Which one is the most powerful? Because they are different builds with different helmets.

Its situational, Mythic is good for everything, Pit push is a little better for specifically pushing pit, but worse for other activities.
