so i see a lot off publicity about D4, i still wander why people keep on playing this? every season or dlc you have to pay, so you pay 100€ for the game, then 100€ for each season and for every dlc around 100€, i gues you guys must be rich to play this game lol, player count is very low, thats why every month of 2 they come up with e new thing that cost you again 100€ lol, so i gues people love to get ripped off every time lol

Could it be that people enjoy this game? 
They say wow is dead but ever since i came back in the middle of legion i never noticed game being close to dead even during shadowlands when everyone was like FF14 is better.
So i don’t know what you smoking but this game is succesful.
People play this not only on PC but on XBOX/PS
Not everyone is the elite PC gamer some people literally play this game not knowing there is a such a thing as guide on the internet or that someone streams.
They just sit down on the couch and play diablo coop with their friends.
Where do you get your information? Reddit? Base game doesn’t cost 100€. DLC doesn’t cost 100€. You don’t have to pay every season and if you want BP it’s not 100€ either.
Like right now there is a bundle D4+VoH for 72€…

Its an really ok game right now.
And dozens of people, which all costs over 100k per year want to get paid every year. That is the beauty and curse of games with constant updates.

Not sure where your getting its 100€ for each season, I still play this and I’ve only paid for the base game and the DLC, nothing else.
If you dislike the game so much, why you still on here moaning about it, find a new game and move on.

Nop. Im going to check season 6 how they ruined it with the changes and most likely forever give up on this game. I just cant be bothered anymore, its nothing fun to play a class or two to max lvl and gear them up when endgame there is nothing interesting to do anyway. No point grinding min-maxed gear.
You already don’t like this game . Why even wasting money on it ?. Only point to play this game is season and see if they added something that you like or not. For me i would never play ethernal server or whatever is called without a seasons.

Some of us paid 99.99€ when the game released last year for the ultimate edition, and now the game literally tells me i only have the Standard edition in my library , when i full well known and can document i paid 99.99€ for the game in June of 2023
So now if i want to retain my ultimate edition, its another 89.99€ or 39.99€ for D4 VoH Standard edition and i’m like what ? , When buying the ultimate edition i pretty much expected it to be a Seasononal pass giving me everything new they create, considering they’re making a small fortune on the cash shop with their skins and their platinum currency they sell people.

You on the other hand got the deluxe edition for the base game. This is the EXPANSION. When they released LOD with D2 toy also "expected it for free ? Or with RoS and D3 ? If so … youre an idiot l.
Don’t use European pricing while criticizing the price of an American game. This turns your thread into a discussion of regional pricing, which is a very different issue and virtually everyone who plays video games is in agreement.
Without the cosmetic bonuses or included battle pass and currency, the expansion price is $40, as compared to $60 for the original release. By comparison, Diablo 3 was $50 at release, Diablo 2 was $40, and most expansions back then were $20-30 depending. The price has gone up, but not obscenely and not as bad as we’ve seen with most other media.
This one-time $40 purchase is the first that has ever been required to participate in new content. All content other than cosmetic bling has been at no extra charge. If you buy the battle pass, it includes several emotes, some gravestones and backgrounds for your name, and about a dozen armor pieces amounting to two costumes, also some weapons and a horse. Not really worth it, but if you don’t find it a good value all you miss out on is those cosmetics. The in-game currency it rewards is on the free track, and all of the seasonal challenges are in a separate section and also free.
In any case, most of us aren’t playing this game because of how much it costs but because it’s an entertaining little skinner box, just like the previous games. Personally I like the variety of activities and the size of the game world, and I like that unlike D2 and D3 the game hasn’t yet been steamlined into speedrunning dungeons by myself using someone else’s build.
I bought D3 CE for 80€ and D3:Ros CE for 90€
I think that was a fair price for all the stuff that you got including the games… + D1 and D2:LoD.
D4 CE didn’t even have the game and it cost 150 or something.
Anyways the Deluxe editions are nothing but cosmetic useless junk that doesn’t effect gameplay so it’s not needed. I wouldnt spend any cash on them.
