STOP being so scared

This is an issue that you guys have had for a long time now, scared to give players what they want, and this extremely timid behavior as developers, simply makes the game boring.

Because you guys aren’t prepared to take any risks at all, you are inadvertently making the game worse, and as a consequence of that obviously the game makes less money, and it will fall from grace extremely quickly.

When a million people has asked you to zoom out the game JUST. DO. IT. dont take 17 seasons to think of the pros and cons, just LET US zoom out, and keep the zoom levels we have now as well, so people can choose.

Make more content in the same spirit of Uber Lilith, but make it an actual worthwhile endeavour, the cosmetic is a good start, but its NOT good enough, possibly give it a higher chance to drop the super rare uniques, or create new uniques that only drop from an Uber Boss, like SOJ or similar, people would be way more hyped to do it. Something that isn’t a necessity for a build to work, but can add some nice power for completing the hardest encounter in the game.

Gem Stash not being in until Season 2 is also a joke, just add it in NOW? Why do we have to wait so long for basic necessities in this game, it’s like you are holding off on making the game good, for no apparent reason.

Diablo 4 developers, sincerely, you are making it way more difficult on yourselves than it has to be, add quality of life fixes, make a working social hub NOW… NOT in season 4.

I refuse to believe that you can’t copy paste the logic from your past games, or make it up extremely quickly at least in terms of the quality of life fixes:
Bigger Stash, Search Bar, Refund all Paragon, Zoom out Camera, Gem Stash - just to mention a few.
It doesn’t have to take this long to add these basic things - and if it does, you guys have to take a hard look at your development process, and rethink your approach.

One of the best seasons of Diablo 3 was the very last one, where it seemed quite obvious that the developers were just having fun with it, and adding interesting things, for the sake of it. Draw inspiration from that.

This is just my 2 cents, I wrote this just to vent my thoughts, so if there is any mistakes, that is why.

TLDR: Give players what they want, quit this timid development behavior, or the game will die, same as Diablo 3.

I don’t think they are scared. I belive they are just implementing the idea of chasing the carrot. The devs will not give all up from the first day, and tbh it wouldn’t make much sense to do so, but I agree that the rewards are way to little and rare.
Also I think that the game wasn’t finished in it’s entirety. So having that idea in mind, they again gave us a game that works and is making alot of money, and by the end of the xxxxxx’s season we will actualy have the whole game (with enough stash slots and fun and balanced classes etc) something that should have been there from the begining!!
Let’s face it, we’ve been hyped about the game and it was great for the first 2-3 weeks but it’s becoming more and more stale. And the devs haven’t learned much from the D3 launch fiasco (and neither have we).

All things you mentioned are there you are just getting them later as a new fresh content.
Blizzard does this for years already
If they gave you all that on the launch they will have no content for season 1 because they do not have this game completed they never planned to released that way
They gave you this empty game and on season 1 you will see that somehow everything is now better and you will wonder why the hell this thing was not implemented on launch :smiley:
and if you are capable of critical thiking you will know that this is how most of the game companies approach gaming nowdays

Don’t think these should be considered new content, think these are basic things that should have been implemented day 1.

I 100% agree but blizzard does this in wow constantly…
legion/BFA/shadowlands are the 3 expansions perfect example of blizzard doing this :smiley:
So from what you described it is is very logical that you put that thing into your game the moment it is released right? Because it make sence it should be there.
But blizzard nowdaays it’s not what it was .
Nowadays you not going to get here is full game and wait 5 years for a expansion
nowadays it is here is this not finished product we will iterate on it during those 5 years
