I’m boosting my friends a lot so I don’t see a problem with that. Especially in HC, it’s nice to have a friend who can get you up to speed fast in case something happens. It was always like this in diablo, why are people so obtuse?
why grind the same content over and over? below 50?
game world feels empty and lacking. it’s dungeon over and over (and the density sucks)
in season i will make use of clan mate boost’s.
I want to have fun and for me that is at higher lvls (60/70+)
if they lock gear and uniques etc behind a wall ofc people will boost.
make unique and fun builds 60+
find those items with power 60+
having decent gear that you dont outlevel every dungeon 60+
if only there was a way for even quicker boosting.
the leveling process is just doing dungeons and if i do that on a lvl 5 or a lvl 50 it’s the same.
if they would put in specific things for the world (low lvl events that are different / unique encounters etc etc) it would be different.
just saying the game needs content and the world should feel alive for me to lvl normally.
also when i started sacred and ancestral could drop in higher tiers…
was thinking it was something like uniques in drop rates. (but every rare is sacred and ancestral almost)
if they roll that stuff back to normal and make those sacred and ancestral items feel like uniques/legs it would be more fun to play.
man finding a sacred or ancestral leg should feel like it’s winning the jackpot. in my opinion they could have worked on that… make normal items go to higher power lvls and finding a sacred or ancestral top that… (and make them much rarer to drop)
Imagine needing a boost from lvl 1 to 50… That thing went so fast as it is, just few sidemissions or complete the storyline as is and youre already above 50. What a bunch of losers those “players” are.
Let them boost, they’ll quit sooner.
Let people paly how they want…
I know a lot will moan that they burnt through all the content in just a few days but thats their own fault…
Been playing casual since early launch and am just mid 60s now… still enjoying playing and have got hours of fun out of it.
Not sure if Ill max out before the next season or not but thats fine… as long as the next season has some decent new features ill give it a go as well…
Or people could just stop worrying about what other people do with their time?
I have a honest suggestion for you OP. Level at least one character to level 100 and then come back here and preach what others should or should not do regarding alts. I have myself leveled barb to 100 and its not great toon to level up to level 50. Now with alts why would i level to 50 myself if i know next 50-100 is going to take ages anyway. Season 1 is around the corner, i say to you happy leveling your level 50 toons to 100…
Most likely because they are used to that sort of thing from Diablo 3.
Pop Petrified scream into Kanai’s cube and 3 minutes later you are lvl 70 paragon 300.
You are aware that you are lying yourself? at level 60/70 to 100 there is no more stuff than 2 or 3 things to do it repeatedly. And the gear you get are pretty much the same, we have been complaining since first days for that. Just uniques, that are pretty useless mostly.
I don´t like to grind, but boosting destroys games, not only players, cause they lose a lot of money, and promote ilegal activities, due it´s fraudulent. I don´t think you go to a restaurant and want to pay another cheff when the food is already made just for having a sense of quality that´s is unrealistic cause the food is already made and you are paying again for this stuff? Also i think you haven´t even seen pages when they ask you 1000 euros for uber uniques and supousedly give it to you when gearing trade is not even in the game.
Uniquers or ancestrals are not better than sacred, they have no better stats. So you only get the bright and the feeling of being more strong, while even in level 100 because all classes have 1 or 2 meta builds, no one plays with other stuff, so also mostly they doesn´t need big quality gear. I´ve seen barbarian oneshoting world bosses with sacred yellow so…
Also to get level 60 are maybe 10 hours if you know well what to do instead of going around like killing simple mobs?
well play it your way… i am now testing a build on my boosted testmage at 60
affixes makes the dmg and having higher affixes (ancestral) shows you a better dmg output than at 20… because your crit rate or lucky hit or elemental dmg boost is just to low.
you need to be at at least 725 item lvl for max affix rolls.
Boosting isn’t fraudulent it’s in the game… if you run with your team mate that is 10 lvls higher and do a higher nightmare dungeon it’s also called boosting.
I have 1 hand lvled sorc at 100 (before nm xp update)
and a 71 Necro. so if i want to play on alts and have them start at 60 because of it. I will ask a clan mate or friend to help me… simple as that.
Boosting for money / selling gold and items is something different… we don’t need that
