Impairment reduction is an understatement utilised stat.
It would be interesting if it could be balanced to stack additively, and at 100% would classify the player character as ‘Unstoppable’.
This would give interesting interactions to effects that trigger from Unstoppable.
Bonus point: Ground effects that apply soft CC should apply that soft CC to bosses. Bosses should always be immune to hard CC outside of stagger.
e.g. Penitent Greaves could classify a boss as chilled outside of stagger.
It’s crazy how there is no plan to improve PvP. Thats clear by how they keep resetting eternal realm players every season.
Eternal realm is a seasonal realm in their eyes.
Eternal realm is where you’d get to balance PvP, if you didn’t do a massive item update and send eternal players back to square one every season
Because they keep sending us back to square one, they are showing they have no care to balance PvP, as well as showing us the only motivator they have is greed.
They have no intent to make a good game.
This is a dead game they are milking. It’s not the game itself that’s the problem, it’s the person steering the ship. I’ve abandoned ship. You should too. The captain is a moron.
They’d be better off deleting eternal realm than keep treating eternal players this way.
I’ll never buy another product from blizzard or Microsoft as a whole again.
Diablo 4’s failure to protect my time and effort and energy invested in anyway in a realm flagged “eternal” will cost both blizzard and Microsoft all money from me and anyone else who feels similarly affected. Soo good job d4 team. Keep up the work and you’ll have one of your parent companies out of business.
It’s 2025 almost, the ability to make a video game as basic as these aarpg’s is getting easier and easier. And a studio with the intent of making a good game will outperform and destroy you with far less energy and effort put into the projects.
The problem is all blizzards energy and effort goes into extracting your money and time and putting it into their shredder.
They have no conscious care for players of the game at any level.
In short. There is no path forward that is worth your time in this game. And if you do see one, I pity you.
You think Diablo 5 can save you and these expansions will carry you there but you are gravely mistaken.
There were a lot of us trying to solve pit 200 on eternal. And you’ve just made almost that entire group of super dedicated players exit your franchise and companies.
I was hugely invested in solving the cow level for my own personal enjoyment, now I couldn’t care less. I simped for this company hard enough, I’m taking the clown make up off. I hope you all choose to do the same.
I bought battle passes each season and I bought cosmetics for some of my chars. I wasn’t just an eternal realm player. And there are a lot like me who will not put up with your endless greed and waste of time.
We can’t all spend 18 hours a day playing. Some of us have real lives and have managed to farm really good items despite the hurdles.
Being sent back to square one is spitting in everyone’s face, some of you just enjoy it.
What’s worse is they are asking you to choke on it while their primary competition launches a month after x pac.
This is a morally and ethically bankrupt company.
