First of all, I apologize for my English.
I feel affection for D4, even for the whole philosophy surrounding the series even though I haven’t played the first two games.
Due to life circumstances I have been able to take refuge in the entire world of Diablo when I have had a very bad time and I always look forward to each new season with great enthusiasm. And I think a lot of people will get an idea of what this game helps when you need to heal your soul.
So I understand that a PVP system does not fit into the philosophy of this game. But I can’t help but think about it to feel like it’s a game for “everyone.” The truth is that I end up getting tired after two months. My character is almost up, I have what I need and maxed out and the pit doesn’t stimulate me enough. That is to say, I always feel that I need new challenges with my character. So I end up missing a more PVP-focused style of play. A PvP in which there are PvP-only skills, which you unlock as you earn points by participating in competitions. Unique PvP rewards. And of course, special tournaments when there is a new season.
I know I’m really freaking out, but I want to continue expressing my point of view.
There could be “Catch the Flag” style competitions (Two teams must take each other’s flag before the opponent does). “Assault the Fortress” (Destroy all defensive towers and reach the opposing team’s fortress before the other team). And of course, typical 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3 fights, etc.
The truth is, I would love to not only look for equipment to do PvE, but to fight in depending on what type of PvP and prioritize attributes that would not otherwise be prioritized. Even being able to create different constructions dedicated to defending, attacking, or going faster.
Well, I know that I have written a very long post and that many people are tired of wanting to turn this game into a kind of “Moba”, but that is not my intention, but a PvP always as something secondary but with the capacity to give more hours game and reach more people.
Don’t hate me Diablo saga purists, please. It’s just a humble suggestion made out of love.
Greetings and good luck.
Always yours,
Elisa.
