We really need a class that can use sword and shield…Even better would be every class able to wield a sword and shield…Sorcerer would be great fun if i could melee and magic, i don’t understand all these restrictions with the classes… Also what’s the point of Necro holding and using a sword if you never actually hit anything with the actual sword or have any skill that uses it? That’s the same dumb thing as in Diablo 3 please don’t do that. And bring paladin or templar class, it’s a must in a game like this come on…
You can’t slam the necro for using a sword and shield, then claim a wizard/sorcerous should be able to use a sword and shield, it completely goes against the profile for magic based characters to be using physical weapons and defence for offence when their attacks and defences are conjured out of thin air.

100% certain the Paladin will be reintroduced, strong hints of it with regards to Marshal Carthas [Paladin from D2]. At the end of the questline the quest giver talks about future generations (of paladins).
They should add some sort of shield and spear type of crusader to the game and use old javazon skills to convert to that character. Something like lightning fury but with holy damage.
It amaze me, that D3 or D4 have not used jawazon skills from D2, as lightning fury was one of the more epic skills to play with there.
