Tampering limit is bad game design. It's actually ruining the fun of the season

I don’t want to loot or upgrade my gear, in a freaking diablo game…
How bad you have to be at game design to decide to add an other layer of irreversible randomness.

I am not farming shit just like previous season. This is trash game design and it’s ruining the fun of farming gear.

The randomness of the tempering is also against you. On my barb I can roll 5 times a distant damage upgrade and on my range rogue I brick my bow with 5 roll close damage. It ACTUALLY happened multiple times on both characters! Playing a new character with gold and mats is eye opening with how often I can roll something bad for my character.

Glad I am not an idiot spending money on their stupid scam.

Gameplay is still enjoyable but they didn’t bother with new enemies too. Lazy.

New season is pretty fun, first I’ve played after s1 cause the game was just absolutely terrible back then - and this season is decent enough to make me wanna play.

I feel like the tempering system is cool, and the limit is fine to incentivise getting newer pieces of gear, but I do agree that you shouldn’t be able to re-roll the same stats with it. It feels bad wasting a reroll going from “distant enemies => distant enemies” they should make it so it cannot re-roll to the stat you’re currently on

Honestly, I agree that I don’t like it. I was having a good time and felt strong but this “the pit” game is absolute garbage, got to level 42 on whirlwind barb and hit a wall that seems impassible as a solo barb.

Lame game.

Got poisoned on level 42 pit and drink all 9 potions and still die, the hell kinda sick joke is this lmao?
