Tenets of depravity questline bug

As stated in title, there seems to be a bug with the tenets of depravity questline.

I’m currently attempting the “Deeds of a champion” campaign questline for vessel of hatred, on the map it directs me to an area in Kurast Bazaar to start the questline (yellow quest marker) but whenever I enter Kurast Bazaar the marker disappears and there is no one to interact with to start the quest line. Supposedly there’s meant to be a guard to interact with to start the quest line but, for me, the guard is never there.

If anyone has insight wether this is a confirmed bug or is there something else i have to do to unlock the quest line.

Thanks for reading

Had this same issue, until I realised I already picked up the quest some time ago.
Maybe you have the quest already, check Quest Log.

Thank you, I was freaking myself out trying to find the NPC that disappears like OP mentioned.

Not exactly super clear, but I started this whole ‘Deeds of a Champion’ after a few drinks :stuck_out_tongue:

Seems to be bugged for me as well. The second part was in my side quests and as soon as I selected it to make it active…it disappeared. Cant see anythjing on the map that suggersts its still there

IIRC I had something similar - if you look at the yellow quest’s requirements it will say complete certain side quests and tells you the name. Look up those side quests separately in your blue quests list and complete them.

That’s the issue for me though, the blue quest was there (the 2nd one, i had done the first), and it disappeared when i selected it to mark it active. So no way to progress this now that I can see.

Ah ok, that sucks. Are you able to reset the yellow quest?

Wasnt aware you can reset a questline ?

I was hoping last weeks patch was going to solve it, as the duplicate quest line was mentioned. Sadly not. The duplicate quest has gone, but it still says to complete the Tenets of Depravity…and that just does not exist in any of my quest tabs :frowning:

If it’s been reset (by you or the patch), then you should be able to get it again from the NPC. There’s detailed information on WOWHead.
