We need more points, and every skill needs more branches or higher skill level caps or both. I guess in an attempt to maintain dictatorial level balance, you made everything non-gated somewhat bland.
Shift the good stuff to the other side of the tedium wall. Uniques, fast sigil leveling, paragon boards, make this stuff way more accessible to those who have other responsibilities in life.
There’s plenty of paragon boards and plenty of classes for more hardcore to work through, and after that, there’s plenty of other games out there to play. Really, Diablo 4 doesn’t need to monopolize everyone’s time.
Also, you want to make endgame stressful, then put it further back, don’t gate sigil leveling and good gear behind really stressful mechanics (all the dumb sigil dungeon effects, CC, instakilling fire enchanteds, etc) Let really sweaty people tackle that stuff in squads where they can pretend to be seal team six.
I’m just one guy who wants some cool shit and a casual wreck-shit type of gameplay. And I can get that, but then I can’t get any reward for it. Not here to achieve anything, got RL for that. So make it fun, make it interesting, make it accessible to a wider range of player.
