Hello everybody.
I don’t know if this issue has been posted before or not but from my point of view, The Dark Citadel is a dead content.
Nobody is talking about it, nobody is looking for a group and definitely, nobody really likes it.
At the release of VoH I was hyped about it and gave it a try and I have to say that it is something new and brought improvements to the game but the real problem is finding a group.
Since The Dark Citadel is co-op only, you need to be at least 2 players in a group and since queues are very long (sometimes it takes up to 1-2 hours to find someone), everything becomes frustrating as well. And when you finally find somebody who wants to do it, then you will have a big surprise because they are going to be either complete beginners who have no idea what to do, or you get paired with bots who just stand still and won’t help you at all.
Either way, The Dark Citadel is DEAD - Blizzard please fix this major issue by making it doable solo or just remove it, seriously.

It’s dead because you cannot go into it by yourself 
ARPG to me in it’s core a single player game not MMO.
If i wanted to play MMO i would choose from better options.

the real and only problem m8 its a group contend in a solo game, the ppl who play Diablo are solo players, just open the Citadel for solo play and it won’t be dead any more.
you can still give ppl the choice to do it in group but don’t force it upon us.

Yeah if we could do it Solo it’d be another great addition to the rest of activities. I’m pretty sure they will address the issue in the future.

i don’t think so, even in immortal raids go well…the issue is that raid is unnecesarily complicated, been there once… didnt liked it… raids should be simple more straightforward… to be enjoyed by everyone, this is an issue with devs, anything multiplayer is done wrong . (same for mobs solo vs in party, why are mobs harder to kill if in party??)
Assuming that the game takes an average of the party members and sets damage at that average
The game scales to party size to ensure groups dont have too big of an advantage over solo players. Kinda ironic how they concidered that aspect but didn’t at all concider that the dark citadel completely alienate solo players.

Blizzard hates solo players, i have no hope for D4 anymore. i stopped playing the game because of the forced multiplayer/co-op
I think the problem is the reward. Nothing new drops from it. Not a single mythic, unique or “power”.
Blizz is forgeting to do content and seems lost.
I dont think adding exclusive player power rewards to the dark citadel is a good idea. The dark citadel can exist for those who want to do it, for the cosmetics or whatever, but forcing it upon people who dont wanna do it because the meta dictates it would be bad, at least as long as it is unsoloable. No forced multiplayer please.
Cosmetics already exist, and it doesn’t seem to have been enough.
Maybe if they made it soloable more people would do it. Nobody asked for forced multiplayer content in this game.
