As stated the game can’t detect Nvidia Geforce MX550 Gpu. Only the integrated Iris Gpu shows up in the gpu selection in game options.
Latest Game Ready Driver for Nvidia is installed (Clean install)
Able to play other Blizzard games such as World of Warcraft etc. with this driver.
Ensured it is set to High Performance (Geforce MX550) option in the Windows graphics options for Diablo4.exe and Diablo4Launcher.exe
Purchased the ultimate edition but still unable to play the game because of this. Because Iris Gpu can’t handle the game. Need the game to detect the dedicated GPU to run this properly.
I have the same issue you can see in the logs that it is only detecting the integrated GPU there is no sign of my GTX1060 so it crashes as the igpu isn’t sufficient.
I have been reporting this since the beta and not got any solutions.
I’m also having the same issue with my NVidia MX570 graphics card not being detected by the game! Instead its working on the integrated intel gpu only.
I have searched all over the internet, tried many tricks (including all mentioned by OP) but it still wont detect the GPU.
After waiting all this time for game to release, and spending good amount of money, only to get stuck at this stupid issue… such BS
I opened a ticket stating the problem and the response I received mentioned it was a driver problem. I got the answer with a set of instructions that described me step by step how to uninstall my current driver and install the new driver. Although I already use the updated driver (Nvidia Diablo 4 Game Ready Driver), I got to work. Even though I knew it would not work, I followed the instructions to the letter and of course I did not get any results. The problem was not fixed. I sent this as an answer to the ticket I opened, but there is no new reply.
Dear authorities, please fix this important issue. We paid for the game but we can’t play it. I am confident that my computer will run Diablo 4 properly and I am sure that there is no problem with my computer. I can play World of Warcraft and all your other games comfortably on my computer, except for the newly released Diablo 4.
I agree with you friend, I also tried everything stated in every forum and post. Even uninstalled and reinstalled GPU driver using DDU, still the game doesnt recognize MX 570 at all.
I don’t want my €70 wasted so desperately waiting for a solution from Blizzard for this issue.
I have exactly the same issue. Waited months fo the release after paying 90 quid only to find I couldnt even access the game for weeks. Now it seems the GPU in my one year laptop is not supported. really is a massive let down. This game has been promoted for months and months, extensive pre release bench testing and must be millions of hours of play time to analyze and still they cant get the thing to recognise the latest Nvidia drivers in my 1 year old graphics card. really… that’s what i paid all that money for and have waited all this time? pretty disappointing.
