but boy oh boy will it be a good 2 months of my life and money very well spend 
compared to what i pay for full priced singleplayer games even XD getting 2 months of play time out of 70 euro? ill take it

Not only its gonna be dead,but there wont even be enough people in the first place.
I saw 2 people in the open world in 27 hours of gameplay.
Most people refunded anyway.

If you were to believe everyone who said ââi refunded,asked for a refund,will ask for a refundââ number is pretty damn high,considering i havenât seen that kind of behavior from people in any other game i played so far.
Idk what is going on but something is obviously wrong.
However, it will not be as open world as in Diablo immortal.
You are simply supposed to meet a few people, but as few as possible.
It is not supposed to be like in MMOs that you will see 15 of them in one act.
Max 5 is enough so that they donât bother us in the game, but so that we know that someone is also âfighting evilâ.
Next time, read why players are low, and donât write stupid things that people return the game.
Because BETA testing on SERVER SLAM has nothing to do with the people who bought the game genius. Everyone could play xD

It wonât be dead right away, but it definitely has its significant weaknesses, because it once again serves a direction that poorly serves the role-playing game and the mechanics of this genre, but once again favors a kind of race, that is, a sports game is approaching.
This is once again one of the main problems and always a real weakness from the RPG genreâs point of view.
And what does a sports game usually do in the RPG segment?
It eats up the entire RPG game and does everything to save and expand the sports game.
Now I have little desire to enumerate the mechanics of RPGs and explain them.
However, I do get a stomach ache when I feel how theyâve rebuilt the game at its core.
Since we have only played to level 25, there are still important pieces of the puzzle missing. So things could still turn out differently. But the signs are at least until then what you could see on sports game. And that inevitably means the death of the actual game and the RPG in it.
Sports games (called Endgame) and role-playing games unfortunately do not get along and behave like fire and water.
One can be curious what will happen.
Depending on the number of sports game gamers, it may well work out anyway⌠Just not for all RPG players, who will once again sit like fish out of water and gasp for air⌠Where are the games for RPGers these days?

This is the most stupid post I ever seen in years in Diablo forums.
OP, at least proivde some reasons why you think that?
We do not know yet what/how end-game will really be in D4 - this will make at the end the diffrence between a game that will be played 3 months(like e.g. I played D2R, not having an end-game after 3 months got really bored) or a game that will be played 10 years(like D3).

Assumptions are nothing else then projecting your thoughts and feelings. Assumptions without arguments are even worse.
It doesnt need to be a fact or the truth, but provide atleast some arguments why you have these thoughts and feelings.
Many people make wrong assumptions nowadays, just like this one. Diablo 4 will be crowded many years after release. Yet, the player base will decrease over time, just like any other game, but it will also increase with new content patches and/or expansions.
Many people also scream something, because they got irritated or annoyed by something, but it doesnt necessarily mean they will go through with it. I bet some people said âiâm going to refundâ but havent exactly do it.
My personal feeling is that we prioritize our emotions over logic in this topic. One of the reasons why I think this, is simply by the fact that Blizzard havenât released how many people refunded the game. So, how can you exactly know?
We complain much about recent Blizzard games and time after time I see âItâs death in a few monthsâ but yet, itâs still being played massivelyâŚ
And another fact is that Diablo is a very famous serieâs.
Just give us some arguments, then maybe we can understand your thoughts and feelings more. This will also help Blizzard, so they got feedback in what they need to change in your eyes.
You also canât keep everyone happy, since we all have our own individual preferences and taste.

The game wont be dead.
Its just projection of peoples feelings.
They think a game must have millions and always maintain millions these days but fail to consider that most people now play multiples games on the go and it doesnt matter which game you choose, over time the numbers will drop, spike again, drop again, stabilise etcâŚ

I expect this depends on how you play⌠Iâll have at least 5 lvl 100 characters and if they reduce the xp gain amounts for quest rewards and killing monsters, extending the time it takes to level up⌠I think people will stay longer.
Alot will also come do to the class balancing, shop prices, any ptw etc⌠different aspects will attract or deny different types⌠and if they delete chars every 3 months or so with the new seasons i expect theyâll see returning players.
Another problem can be, the PAY TO WIN! If D4 turns p2w like Diablo Immortal then will die in 3 months for sure. Yes, they say D4 will not be p2w, BUT there is a âshopâ and a Battlepass⌠so ya, we will seeâŚ

Like many people pointed out if I am able to get at least 100h of fun for the price tag of $100 iâd be happy, which to be honest Iâve almost already done just by playing the 3 betas.

d4 will be no different to d3 a season starts players flock play the season till they had their fill then player count drops off then new season comes players flock to play next best season been happening in d3 and poe for a very long time only this time they are trying to charge for bonuses (cosmetics) in d4 seasons will it work that is the big question will it retain the player base long enough to log in every day until next season starts.
