How to make the final boss hard? You just have to make one-shot waves, that the player can’t avoid, that ignore all the equipment, that the player has farmed and the hit boxes you can’t see.
I’m sorry, but this proves, that the current devs team is just incompetent, they don’t play their own game and don’t care about it too.
It’s not normal, I tried with four different classes (with invicible barrier etc…) and I always died from that attack… I understand the only way to beat her is to oneshot her, at this point what’s the point of having so much life so much resistance to all the elements and lots of armor??? At least give me the possibility to past level 100 in order to increase all the stats like D3
You can’t even do that now.
The first phase lasts 4 key-strokes, but the second phase is always blocked at 5 or 10%. And then I just end up trying to dodge her stupid 1-shot mechanics. Unfortunately, I had to choose dps over run speed for my bossing build. I gave up in disgust after about 50 tries.
Not trying again until I hear they’ve “fixed” this fight. The rewards simply aren’t worth the frustration. Even if they changed it so only she dropped the uber uniques, it’d be a hard pass from me.

I dont understand why they stubborn to keep oneshot mechanic, it is never been part of this game. Clearly they have no soul or experience of diablo game. I did only try out uber lilith total maybe at least 10-15 attempts season 1-3, still havent killed it.

Ah uber lilith, I killed her in season 1, I’ll be honest i hate her. Now every season has her as one of the requirements of Destroyer… i mean come on…
Season 3 is rubbish and so far I get her almost consistently to p2 but why oh why did you fix her blood orbs… they suck sooo bad.
You can hardly see them as a blizzard sorc…
Though suppose to complete destroyer i could just wait till avarice spawns. In whatever stupid time that will be.

As of today I’ve had to respec my whole character to one hit the first stage of Uber Lilith and even then in the second part it takes me a while to charge back up but I manage to get her to the last slither. But the blood that chases you comes from too many directions at once when you are trying to dodge the breaking floor. Just when you think you’re ok. One of the bloods spawns behind Lilith so you can’t see it and kills you in the back and also u can’t move through Lilith so you’re confined to one corner whilst trying to dodge this. I’m currently on attempt 1173 I started keeping track since season 1 and only in season 3 have managed to get her to stage 2.
I’m fine with her having One-Shot mechanics… The problem is you can barely see the indications.
Not a fan of 1Shot Lilith or Lilith 1Shots you design of her.

Look at the patch notes for the Season 4 update, they made it clear that there are no bugs. They deliberately made the boss difficult to pass, partly by shifting the damage zone from the animation. This is not a bug, it’s a feature of the game.
I finish season and drop 1 sparks. I salvage doombringer and drop 1 sparks. I finish wolf story and drop 1 sparks. But killed lilith and i see season done. But dont drop 1 sparks. Help meee
Giving up, killed every other boss on Tormented, Lilith is pretty much impossible, at least for me. Can get to the 2nd phase relatively comfortably, then just get downed by those daft homing balls. Not fun.
Tbf blizzard has never been good at making actually well designed difficult encounters. It has always been “overtuning and sensory overloading the players, that make it difficult, right?”
Just look at wow, a genre that i would argue has a much easier time at interesting boss design than an arpg, and yet the amounts of time, where they designed a difficult mythic boss, that was actually well designed, are so rare, that you can call them flukes with good consciounce. Particularly the end bosses are usually a shtshow

After defeating her in season 2 with my ball lightning sorc, I haven’t tried again. I’m not wasting my time in that battle. It’s frustrating and boring. Done once, never again.

u ever come to these forums, reading what’s told and think to urself: wow, i hold these special few in the highest regard?
so this guy, yt guy, has games as his interest in life. Sight-impaired or not, he overcomes the odds because he loves the games and he also has a burning ambition to prove that he can do anything and everything anyone else can. Perhaps because then, being sight-impaired, it is obvious that some of his other qualities besides sight are mighty.
Now since that guy did it, anyone surely can. And they could, anyone could. This isn’t actually difficult, it never was. 50 tries? come on… 5000 tries yo, if you’re serious. That blind guy would’ve done it and so can u. But the blind guy had already done it in countless other games, so he didn’t need to; so why would u? ur better than a blind guy, right?
That proves Lilith was always an easy and well-rounded boss, surely.

Good job doing that. I wouldn’t though. Takes too much time. I bet I’d be at her all day, learning patterns. At least several hours. Am I inspired to do that? No. Why’s that? Because I come here to kill monsters, not skill bosses.

But sure, I get she’s the skill check; in a game otherwise void of such.
Yea, I played D4. Was pretty satisfied with myself and my build until I hit the final boss and it became apparent that I had built dogturd. So I leveled to 100 and even took an extra few days to really trim up. Turns out nothing changed. Now I had a bloody tooth and pushed several hours, 3-4, every day for an entire week and failed just as miserably as I had before. Every other boss yielded, but she wasn’t even close. Then I went to the internet and looked over the items I needed and what build I should use and realised that there would be no way for me to accomplish this.
That’s disappointing for people. They think that putting more than 50 hours, even a 100, should be enough to deal with the final boss. Sure is like that in Dark Souls, which is a lot about skilling up.
Did u guys hear about the guy Brolylegs? He’s somewhat disabled, cripple; plays fighting games with his mouth and fairly competitively so. He’s a testament to what we can achieve if we keep at it and really want to. Clearly he’s better than most out there. Can I be as good as him? Ya, sure sure… Better probably. But for that I need time and patience and most importantly I need interest.
Am I interested in defeating Lilith? Not really, no. I was in this power fantasy where I was really hawt but then it turns out I was totally tripping when I got to the final boss of the game. Kinda bummed me out, ngl. Someone else might’ve felt the same way, reading this. But u still get the few who does it and amongst those few there’s always a couple of guys that is a bit insecure about their prowess and need to talk about excellency with those who does not muster the interest needed to secure the final victory of the game.
