Renaming the following two files
- dstorage.dll
- dstoragecore.dll
found in the Diablo 4 folder, into
- dstorage.dll
.old- dstoragecore.dll
.old
worked very well for me!
This does not only fix the login problem with patch 1.3.1, it —COMPLETELY— solved my disconnet problems when using town teleport platforms or town portals.
Before, nearly every voyage through an portal was a freeze and complete disconnect.
This problem has vanished, like it never happened.
The games runs smooth now, like it was intended.
But, if this is causing so much trouble for so many players and we don´t need these files…
Why these 2 files (“dstorage.dll” and “dstoragecore.dll”) does have these problems and what is normaly the benefit of these 2 files? I haven´t found a clue using google.
It can´t be something important, because they are not missing - everything runs better without them.
