The upcoming change to Hunter’s Zenith ruins my build

So in 2.0 they’re changing the ring Hunter’s Zenith.

  • Previous: Gain a bonus when you kill with a Shapeshifting Skill: Werewolf: Your next Non-Ultimate Werebear Skill costs no Spirit and has no Cooldown. Werebear: Your next Werewolf Skill will Heal you for 104-522 when damage is first dealt.
  • Now: Every 30 seconds you spend in an animal form, your next Core Skill is guaranteed to Overpower and Critically Strike and deals 30-60% increased damage. Casting Shapeshifting Skills reduces this timer by 1 second, or 2 seconds if you change to a new animal form.

So where I now can kill a mob with Shred, and get a “free” Trample and repeat, in 2.0 I’ll have to wait for the Trample cooldown, which just ruins the whole thing. Having to spam Shred, hoping for a Nature’s Fury proc, is just so much slower. I guess I can use Claw and Pulverize or something for a shapeshifting build, but it’s not the same as bulldozing through packs and then teleporting back into it, to do it again.

It’s such a fun build, just wanted to express my disappointment with the change.

I second this, after coming back from being away since end of season 2 this change, among others has ruined this game for me.
I have no drive to even re-learn this after all the time I spent perfecting what i could in season 1-2. Now they just expect me to be happy with re-learning the entire game and grinding out a whole new build after I fell in love with what I had to begin with? F*** that.
First time i loaded back in, my druid was wearing nothing i had on him before, all the assigned skills were changed, i swear to god my skill points are all different, and I have to re-grind my entire paragon board??!?! WTH were they even thinking?! I was maxed out level 100! Why would they think people would enjoy this? I am so done with Blizzard.
