I just can’t face keep starting a new character and doing it all again, and again. How do people accept the 5% of different stuff to do in a new season and feel that they want to rinse and repeat, when there are so many other games, and things, out there to do?
It’s lazy development to run the game in this way.

I know what you mean. There is almost no game to be played it’s that shallow, and yet they have managed to convince people to pay for it.
They already got our money and I think that was their main aim but I am concerned that this becomes their (Blizzard’s) biggest objective regardless of quality.

Path of exile season obliterate diablo 4 season and its a free to play game and when path of exile 2 come out i say bye bye diablo…ah and take a look on the season that start in a few hour practically it’s another game this indicate the passion and dedication the dev have versus their game and fans.
I just run the same character in Eternal and ignore the seasons until my character is maxed out. Only then will I move on to a new character. For a casual player like me there isn’t enough time in a season to even come close to maxing out a character. I’ve been playing the same character since launch and I am only finally getting to the point where I’m capable of running the higher tiered dungeons and pits, after grinding materials and then bosses for ages to get some really high end uniques and grinding endless dungeons to level glyphs, grinding pits to upgrade items. It takes a while when I can only play a few hours a week. Blizzard’s decision to go with the antiquated “ladder” season system from D2 and D3, requiring a new char each season, was a huge miss. It unnecessarily splits the player base, and it makes it so that casual players who would rather play each character to full completion can rarely participate in seasonal events.
