This game has some of the worst designed bosses I have ever seen

the worst offenders are andariel and lillith - both being mandatory to kill this season due to boss powers / season journey and what not… and oh my god are they just straight up trash.
Andariel : I’ve had andariel runs where she went into her pillar phase back to back 3 times in a row, the pillars live forever, often there’s no way to properly do the mechanic because the beams overlap and there’s no space, everything has the same colour and I can neither see the ground nor anything else that’s happening really. also the fact that the pillars have this god awful bubble on top of them so you need to move inside them is just… I have no words

Lillith : similar visibility issues, the hitboxes are all kinds of messed up - I’ve done this fight many many times and it seems to get worse each season. how is this even possible? and the forced invulnerability phases oh my god - why do these bosses even have a health bar? I spent 1% of the fight actually hitting the boss until another stupid phase starts where I just run around and dodge ground effects that are BARELY visible. why?

Mephisto fight is almost okay, but being vulnerable and stuck in that god awful slow animation when shooting the orbs at the portals is offensively bad, every time I am stuck in the animation and get a wolf jumping at me while unable to do anything makes me want to uninstall. also the fight keeps bugging out - sometimes one portal will just stay invulnerable forever, sometimes the orbs don’t spawn etc. did anyone even playtest this?

also buff the season mechanic, nobody is doing the incursions - they are worthless. people just chill in helltide, feels like season of loot reborn again where there was no mechanic at all. there’s more issues, like the horrendous memory leak that has been going on since FOREVER, numerous bugs etc. but I cba to list since nobody reads this anyways

the only good things I can say about this season is that the moment to moment gameplay feels great, sorc is a ton of fun atleast and looks / sounds cool. I am hoping for a patch to tune the numbers on bosses and buff the season mechanic loot but considering the radio silence and the fact that this is blizzard we’ll probably wait until the next paid expansion for that. 4/10 season

just want to say that. i also thought that, cause there’s been other entries with this boss. it’s ‘belial’. and it’s ‘belial’s return’. as if belial was around at some point, which could make someone think that he was; which is deceptive cause he never were, and that can lead someone to think they’re fighting this other guy that actually was around: mephisto.

there is one boss (lillith) i will most likely never do, i did try it but really at most 5% of the time in that fight you actually fight her all the rest is positioning and dodging stuff, this something i would expect in Wow retail where Blizz has a way making the boss fight’s super challenging but there you got addons to help you here no addons, so you can barely see where to go and still you think this was a good idea!!!.

They now a little better than was. About Lilith and Andariel, the issue is that the areas are too small and bosses have too many skills in the same time, so ye just have no place for maneuver, thats’why they harder than other bosses. This is the stupid design. In addition, I got the impression that the spikes of Lilith amaze the area more visible. But we all know what kind of “cool” servers hath Blizard.
