This make sense

Blizzard is trying to bring a PC-born game to the console. The end result was that both “factions” now hate diablo.

I do NOT understand how so few people give little importance to the absence of “Party Finder”. In my opinion this is the main lack of this game.
Yes, “open world” is quite boring, all like it.
but generally the game itself does not differ much, in short, you could work on it.

There are things that the game does well.

  • the graphics (however useless)
  • the campaign (sufficient, but not important for the gameplay)

and in particular I was particularly impressed by the dubbing in my language (Italian. and I continue to thank Blizzard who continues to do impeccably this kind of work)

But basically, we are losing the right path here. And I see a lot of people complaining about basically useless things, probably new players.

I’m really bitter that I spent all this money on this game.
I was hoping that Season 1 would solve these issues, but it doesn’t seem that Blizzard wants to do anything about it.
I don’t want to start a pointless war to get me a refund for the game, but I probably won’t be able to trust Blizzard on day one.

what’s the point?
didn’t talking about Party Finder

you don’t have discord?

I’m not sure I can converse in English, I’m helping myself with Google Translate :joy:

No idea why people want to play this game in a group, its such a horrible experience, I can’t even see where my character is with all this madness from other players skills. Why would I want some other people around when everything dies after one hit?

The chaotic environment is an integral part of Diablo. In a group of 4 people it is practically impossible to see your character. Just know that there are companions among the group of enemies that depending on the case are supported with shields and buffs. and there are ranged classes that do damage from outside or just support the rest of the party

I remember that on the first day of diablo 3, I started playing with 3 other strangers. We individually chose 4 different classes and from there we continued to play together for several months. The only multiplayer experience I had in Diablo 4, was with 2 of these players that I met on the first day of diablo 3.

Join a clan, then you can ask on clan chat to join some of them. Local chat in the city works as well, but people are not paying much attention to it.

because “local chat” is useless,
if you’re lucky, you get 5 people to read it (who might be interested in playing together, (but probably not)
Similarly, a clan is also useless. Because the people with whom you would be able to interact instead of 5, will be at most 10.

A global chat would be more useful, but as one user rightly said, it would be filled with gold sales spam, and things like that.
It makes sense that Blizzard deleted it

what we really need is a “Party Finder” that would automatically associate people who want to play multiplayer.
is the only way to associate together a group of 4 people who want to play in a group.

And on this point, I just can’t understand why they decided to delete it.

Game is not finished, all they had was story mode, after that ends there is nothing left. You can see season 1 is pretty empty. They wanted to have live service game without making any live service content. Now they are in very bad spot. Making decent live service content, and adding features to the game will take them long time. Game will be in better state next year.

This has absolutely nothing to do with it. It is not important what they could add with the future seasons, things that among other things we still cannot know.
Here we’re talking about things that should have been there from the beginning and that still aren’t considered by Blizzard.

Because grouping up is what keeps D3 alive, even tho D3 has only GR’s and is almost dead game. D3 would’ve died long time ago if wasn’t for easily accessible party gameplay.

That’s because D3 isn’t an open world game but a lobby based game where you join random lobbies.

Even though D4 isn’t an actual MMO, it’s large enough that a proper group finder would be a good addition to the game for sure.

Easy party finder would be nice and myself personally would have more motivation to play.

I used discord few times without any success.

I’m not a mouth-breathing tween and refuse to engage with those who act like one.

This team needs to adult-up and engage with the forums
